btw, heres my altis nakacompress spring lang yan

"compressed" springs are dangerous because the metal has been re-heated in a uncontrolled way to soften the spring at a certain point. This uncontrolled heating can cause the heated portion to crack since it was weakened by the heating.

Clamps are ok for display but driving on clamps can be annoying because the clamps will rattle and can move around the spring as it compresses as you drive your car.

If you want to lower your car, don't take the short cut because you will probably spend more on repairs later.

Normally... I don't like lowering a car with springs only... especially with a car like the Altis...

Cars with soft shock absorbers will wear them out very quickly with lowering springs. And the Corolla already has shocks that are too soft to survive the Altis's springing rates for too long.

If you want to lower, do it right... buy lowering springs and buy upgraded shocks. Otherwise, just save your money and get a good set of mags.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

thank you mga sir sa repy..by the way my car is ford lynx lsi 2002 model..pina check ko na sa isang auto repair shop and sabi nila pwede daw kabitan yung spring ko ng clamp para ma lower..icocompress lang nila..it will cost me 2800, harap at likod na yun..

cguro nga i will invest money na lang para sa lowering spring talaga and gas type shock absorbers..thank you mga tsikoters for the reply, it was a big help for me.
