    Usually. Lowering springs are really stiff, and the valves in stock shock absorbers can't stand up to the punishment.

    You can ask at the Ford Club about lowering springs and shocks. ( http://forum.fordclubph.com ). Lowering springs, brand new, cost about 12k pesos... but I don't know what non-adjustable (read... cheap) shocks will take them (mine are Tokico adjustables from the US). Be warned, though... most lowering springs available for the Lynx locally are rock-hard, and are definitely not as comfortable as stock.
