    Kahoy po ba iyan?

Yung bumangga kasi sakin dati kahoy ang steering wheel. Nag-splinter during the accident.

Ang malala pa, kumalas yung wooden rim from the metal spokes. Kaya yung inner side ng forearms niya ay kumayod at nabalatan.

Hindi na po siguro niya naramdaman iyon. Nawalan na siya ng malay upon impact.

actually, i really like my oem manibela. hehe.. pero nung nakita ko to, nagandahan ako ng sobra. sa mg infinity ko sya nakuha. actually, x ko kasi yung may ari. i got it for the cost lang.. 1k lang.. (imagine, yun lang pala yung cost nun!) pero ang bentahan nila is 3,995 kasama kabit and convertion.

napansin ko lang, yun nga.. medyo may gap sya pag ilo lock mo na yung manibela when parked... and pwede mong alugin up and down, medyo may konting konting clearance. i dont know if this is normal.

pero aesthetically, i really like it. stainless steel + chrome middle + leather wrap, tapos may parang carbon fiber print pero hindi eh. parang carbon fiber, pero darker grey and black. post ako ng pic dito para makita nyo

since im new with the whole "changing the steering wheel" yung mga may experience with changing, baka may na encounter kayo ng mga problems.

basta high quality yung wheel and meeting certain safety standards, ok lang. as otep said, yung manibela yung nakaharap sa iyo and that's the first thing that will hit you if you get into an accident, so it must protect you, not harm you. imagine if that splintered wood hit the guy's face and neck instead of his forearms.

also, kung airbag equipped yung kotse mo, be advised that you are removing one of the most important safety mechanisms that your car has - something that most likely will save your life if you're ever involved in a serious accident.

finally, make sure you use the right conversion kit at hindi kung sino sino yung nagi-install. you don't want the wheel coming off while you're driving and in my experience those salesmen don't know the first thing about proper fitment (happened to my brother's friend)

my car has the type-r steering wheel and ok naman siya. hindi siya nauuga up and down, and walang play when parked. baka sa pagka-install lang kaya me problem ng ganyan sa yo.

medyo mahal nga yang type r na nakuha mo bro. if i remember it right, i got one mga two years ago for 1500.00. libre pa adaptor.

afaik, the elevo brand steering wheels look better. medyo hawig ng onti sa momo. but if you are going to use your car on a long term basis, better to invest in a momo. daming second hand nyan na nag-aaverage ng 3k-5k. madali namang remedyohan yung pawising previous owner eh.. just clean it first and put leather conditioner, or if you can afford it, pwede mo namang ipa-releather.
