    Yokohama Aspex/Blue Earth
    Dunlop LM704
    Toyo Proxes/DRB?

    TIA
Bro, all are good choices. Hardest sidewall belong to the Proxes and DRB as they are entry level sporty tires. Grip is better than OEM. Aspec and Blue Earth are both OEMs so the sidewalls are soft. Tread of the Aspec is a harder compound than the Blue Earth. The LM704 is a touring tire with soft sidewalls typical of Dunlops and better than OEM grip. They tend to pick up nails and such more though.

    Hi sir

I guess AT or hybrid ? Using only for city drive with weekly out of town trips.

Goodyear is quite expensive. I am thinking yokohama, toyo, GT ? Any recommendation and specific parts ? Safety and durability are my top priority. Budget is hovering around 10k php. Thanks!

At your budget, go get a set of Bridgestone Potenzas or Turanzas. They are around 9k to 10k for 18" sizes but Bridgestone usually offers a buy-3-take-1 promo. Go checkout the Bridgestone dealer along Presidents Avenue.

If you want to save a bit, go with Indonesian tires - GT, Achilles, Neuton, or Accelera. The GT Champiro SX2 is a good option for something similar to the Potenza at a friendlier price.

For its prize, there are better options. I would go with Bridgestone Turanza over the Dunlop LM704.

Akala ko 10k budget per tire? If 10k budget per tire mag Potenza RE003 ka na. Much, much grippier than that Dunlop LM704 or any other sub-5k tire.

Panget how? The Goodyear Duraplus tires that come with the Swift aren't very grippy, but they will last you a long time (north of 60,000 km if you drive nicely).

If you want something grippier, I would recommend the Bridgestone Potenza RE003, Yokohama Advan V701, or Michelin Pilot Sport 4.

Don't you think those tyres you mentioned are a bit overkill for the swift?

How about dunlop sportmaxx instead or michelin primacy? Just the right balance?

The tires I mentioned are all tires for daily-driven cars but with better performance than your usual tire. The Michelin Pilot Sport 4 easily trumps all tires because it grips very well yet doesn't wear easily and is a fairly comfortable tire. Only downside is that it's not cheap.

The Bridgestone RE003 is a very grippy tire as well, but doesn't have as much longevity as the PS4. I've had it on my Mazda 3 for almost a year now and haven't had any issues so far.

The Yokohama Advan V701 is an affordable tire despite carrying the Advan name because it's made in the PH. Price is actually cheaper than other touring tyres from Yokohama that are imported. Comfort is excellent for a sporty tire, also very quiet. Outright grip might not be at par with the PS4 and RE003, but should be enough for most econoboxes. I have them now on my Civic and so far it's also been good, I just have to try it out on a mountain road to ascertain its grip vs my old Ecsta.

None of these tires are as extreme as the 200 treadwear tires (Advan AD08, Potenza RE71, GT SX2, Westlake Sport RS, etc). All 3 tires I recommended are roughly the same level as the OEM Sportmaxx and Primacy that you mentioned, but are either cheaper or priced the same but grippier.

Most people forget that the tires are the most important part of a car. The tires are the only part of your car which establishes contact with the road. It is wiser to have a good set of tires than spend some on useless body kits.

Mine is a daily driver (Altis), I usually go to the province (Region 2) once a month, if I were to choose between Turanza and PS4, which one should I get? TIA

Not sure bro jut kung fair comparison since nasa vios yun roadshine, then duraplus sa swift; pero mas maganda grip nun roadshine na gamit ko sa vios. Siguro dahil mas mabilis ako nakakatakbo sa swift, and never ako lumampas ng 150kph sa vios LOL

I've only bought Falkens for my 05 Mazda 3. Already went through a set of Azenis ST-115's and FK-452s (currently have FK-453s on the 3.) Love the stopping power + never hydroplaned with them...(unlike the old Turanza's 15's stock, or never easily punctured it's side wall unlike the Bridgestone RE02s from the OEM 17 rims that I got as an upgrade)
