Which is better guys (235/60 R16)... I'm already sold at the Turanzas although am intrigued by the low-resistance Michelins (but my preference is for a grippier tire especially on wet roads).
Michelin Energy MXV8 - P7,500+
Bridgestone Turanza ER60 - P5,200+
Bridgestone Dueler H/T 687 - P4,500
Thanks!

Comfort tires in 195/55-15? Try C-Drives or Turanza GR80s, but they ain't cheap.
225 versus 215/70-15, it's only a difference of about half an inch or less in height... should be more comfortable, too, on the smaller tires (slightly), but it'll make your odometer run fast.
The MXV8s are supposed to be good tires, but they're really expensive. We just got the Michelin Synchrones for the Crosswind... awesome tires, but I don't know if they have sizes for the RAV4.
Turanza ER60... decent lang... prefer the GR80, as it's way better, but I think they're also expensive.

Kunting info lang po ito tungkol sa tire po:
e.g. ____________ P195/55R16 85H ____________
ang P ____Passenger vehicle tires
..... 195 __Width of tire na 195 mm.
..... 55 ___Height ng side wall 55% of the width(195) so, 107mm.
..... R ____Radial
..... 16 ___size in inches ng wheel.
..... 85 ___the load index na equiv. 515kg/wheel.
..... H ____speed index at ibig sabihin ay 210km/h max speed.
anyway, ang pinaka importante na dapat malaman ay yung manufacturing date !!!!
e.g_________ ( 2104 ) _________(may have asterisk)
ibig sabihin nito ang date of manufacture ay ika 21st weeks of year 2004

(DOM Date Of Manufacture.)
apat na digits lang yun at ang huling two digits ay di dapat lalagpas sa current year(e.i. 07) madali lang makita yun.
as i've mentioned earlier eh importante ito dahil nga most accident happened ay dahil sa pag burst ng tire and tire validity which is only 4 years from manufacturing date is very important to be verified before buying.
kaya check nyo rin gamit nyong gulong now!!..kung ang DOM ay 2703 or lower exprired na yan!!
na banggit na pala ito ni odiong929 last apr29 sa page 5..ayon at may site address pa..just back check..marami pang importante bagay sa tires ang dapat na alamin din gaya ng A or AA ano yun? see...

Whenever you change width, you change height.
As dbuzz pointed out (and which I'm already familiar with, having changed tire sizes so often my head spins), 225/70R15 means 225mm times 70% = your sidewall height. Going down to 215/70, you lose 7mm of sidewall height... calculated into your tire diameter, you run about 2% slower on the road against your odometer (which will read faster).
With your current size (215/65R15), refer to http://miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html ... your odometer is running 5% faster than before. Some dealerships supposedly can adjust your odo, but I don't know if that'll work with your current vehicle.
