I asked if they would use up all 6 bottles as I know the Forester only needs 5.2 to 5.4 L. That was over the phone with some other SA. But when I talked to Jerold, he was more than happy to say that the excess bottle will be placed inside the car when I pick it up. Do you remember who your SA was?

Cost was the same as yours, P5,304. Check with your SA, I believe they use Motul for all current model Foresters instead of Castrol Edge. They only indicated Castrol Edge in the receipt but they actually use Motul. That's what Jerold said anyway.
Jerold was also my SA. Didn't research before having my 1600 PMS done so I wasn't aware of and didn't ask for the extra unused oil. However, when I used to have my old car serviced at Speedyfix, SOP nila to leave the unused oil in the car without me asking for it. Not happy with MI about this Also, it makes no sense to indicate Castrol in the receipt and then use Motul. I will be more vigilant during my next visit.

Is this really the norm for A/T cars? I think the highest PMS I ever had to pay for my 8 year old RAV4 SV(M/T) was 14,000 at the 40,000 km mark. Hahaha! That seems so low in comparison. I guess that means that I should brace myself for a fairly high bill for my 80,000 km PMS (and I'm around 3,000kms away).
80k pms of the montero costs 32k, including timing belts and etc etc. haha.

Bought the unit to MI for its first PMS earlier. They charged me around 4.6k for 5 liters of castrol edge and the usual stuff. Also wanted to have it wheel aligned due to the steering a bit biased to the right but the queue was long at mi bgc. Also had lowbeam adjusted. SA also mentioned that the warrnty for the wheel alignment is 1 month after car release. Not sure if i missed this while reading the manuals.

^not aware of the 1 month warranty for wheel alignment as well.

Haven't tried them personally, but there's a bunch of shops affiliated with the 2 Subaru-focused forums (subarusociety and subaruclubphilippines). The numbers of the shop owners are posted on said sites. I'll open a new thread with a list of these shops here in tsikot, for FYI purposes.

Just had my Forester 2.0 N/A (2012 model) serviced at 6,xxx kilometers since over 6 months has passed since my 1,600 km check up.

    Service center: Subaru-BGC

Total cost amounted to Php 7,896 inclusive of cost of oil filter, gasket, brake cleaner, oil (6 liters) and installation fee for mud guards.

Had my 10k PMS on my MY2012 Forester NA today. Nina, Jerold and the rest of the service personnel at MI BGC were quick and professional as usual.

Brought the car in at 9:30 AM in the morning and got it back at 2:30PM on the dot.

The following items were done to the car:
    - oil change
    - oil gasket replaced
    - brakes inspection and cleaning
    - bolts tightening
    - fluids check
    - headlight adjustment
    - dashboard rattles
    - car wash

Excellent service at a good price!

6-7K range? Did you bring your own oil? What was your mileage - did you reach 10,000km?
