June 30th, 2008 05:41 PM #34How's your Legacy - driving experience, handling, ride & fuel consumption. Last saturday I went to see the 2008 Mazda 6 at Mazda Edsa. bago ako dumating dun I saw the Subaru showroom & decided to take a look. Nagandahan ako sa Legacy. Exterior is simple yet refined, interior is classy, superior fit & trim, boxer engine & AWD. I'm confused now - Mazda 6 or Legacy. Halos same price.

I'll go with the Mazda6... some things that I don't like about the Legacy:
- cramped and rock hard rear seats
- sluggish transmission
- weak acceleration
Other than that... the Legacy's ride & handling are above average.
I feel that the Mazda6 is a more competent vehicle... better engine, handles great, etc.
But it's your choice...

June 30th, 2008 10:29 PM #37I also think rear seat leg room is one of the Legacy's weakpoint. Not sure what engine they are offering here but if its the 2.0L non-turbo one, I guess Mazda 6 nalang me.

July 1st, 2008 09:27 AM #39the rear seat legroom is not too bad IMO. yes it's a 2.0 DOHC/NA - smaller than the accord & camry's 2.4 & the mazda6 2.5. any idea on fuel consumption for legacy & mazda 6 for city, highway & combined? maraming salamat sa feedback & opinions fellow tsikoteers. please keep it coming.
