Comments on Subaru Legacy?

Mazda 6 and subaru legacy din yun pinagpipilian ko before i got the legacy. Test drive mo na lang pareho just to have an idea kun ano mas type mo. Got to test drive the 6 last MIAS ok ang tranny mabilis magdownshift and malakas ang pull ng engine. Interior nya very spacious with very classy yet sporty bits lalo na yun lacquered trim sa dash and console. Ang layo sa wood trim ng innova V namin. Hehe. Pero i still opted for the legacy kasi ganda tunog ng engine kahit 2.0L lang, AWD kahit hindi ko naman kailangan sa pinas ng AWD, Wagon kahit na ako lang naman usually nakasakay. Ride for both the mazda and the legacy are both on the firm side tsaka comparable din yun steering feel nila. FC is aroung 6-8 sa city 12 sa highway. Driving experience mas nagustuhan ko subaru. Ewan ko ba kun bakit, baka kasi subaru. hehe Wagon ba or sedan tinitingnan m?

thanks sa feedback jaymd. i'm looking at the sedan. sige i'll test drive the legacy. na test drive ko no ang new mazda 6 & it's handling reminds you of a BMW 3 series that i was able to drive. emotionally - both mazda 6 & the legacy gives you the allure of exclusivity. you don't see many of them on the road.

Parehas talaga sila bihira sa daan one of the reasons why i considered the 6 and the leggie. Wala pa nga ako nakita na 6 sa daan hangang ngayon. Goodluck sa car shopping

the rear seat legroom is not too bad IMO. yes it's a 2.0 DOHC/NA - smaller than the accord & camry's 2.4 & the mazda6 2.5. any idea on fuel consumption for legacy & mazda 6 for city, highway & combined? maraming salamat sa feedback & opinions fellow tsikoteers. please keep it coming.

Yup but compared to other mid sized Japanese variants, sya na siguro pinakamasikip. But at least its not as bad compared to the Subaru Outback which has really tight rear leg room. Mas malugawa pa yata sa new Impreza.

and does it have curtain airbags? if it does... that's cool

as long as the power is concerned, sa pagkakaalam ko malalakas naman mga boxers nila kahit na ba 2.0 lang. and yes, they have curtain airbags as standard on all models. not being a biased one pero you really get what you payed for dyan sa subaru na brand na yan..

nag discount po ba sila dahil sa darating na yung diesel engines? diba matagal pa yun, bakit ang aga naman yata ng discounts? or was it a discount dahil sa old stock nga daw. pero bakit parin nga ba? may darating na bang facelifted or newer models?

matagal na on sale yung Diesel Boxers sa UK, it's about time na magkaroon na rin dito. :-)

I have the wagon version bought last april 2008. So far ave FC is 5-6 kms/l and 12 kms/l hiway. May 6 airbags sya and has very good crash test results. Thats the main reason why i chose the legacy and bihira pa sa daan. Mabagal throttle response baka din sa weight/AWD and baka electronic throttle na sya pero nag improve after i replaced the stock filter. Buti ka pa may discount ako wala Difference between the 2007 and 2008 models are the guages and may full moonroof na ngayon. Sarap gamitin sa out of town trips parang naka convertible ka sa laki ng butas sa bubong wag lang sana mag leak

thanks for the input sir jaymd. We went to see it kanina. naks talaga. ang laki ng sunroof.... tapos todo safety equip na... sulit man.... less 250 k pa. deal na.

yup. 250k. si Mel yung nakausap namin.... not very knowledgable, but she will do.

baka 150 sa sedan. station wagon tinitingnan namin eh. tinanong namin magkano less sa wagon pag cash... 250k daw. so 1.590M- 250k > 1.340M.... that's a bargain for leather seats, a big sunroof, sophisticated interior design, HID's... etc etc etc.... wow talaga.

Color.... uh... there's a *something* silver and a diamond grey, which is basically grey and grey-er, respectively.

kukunin ata namin yung grey-er. Di pa kami bibili hangga't di pa nabenta yung *bleep* na 4JX1 Trooper namin..... haaaaaayyy life..... but oh well.... patience is a virtue....

Hello fellow Legacy owners

tanung lang.... lalo na sa mga may sunroof... may naririnig ba kayong nag-iingay tuwing may lubak? there's something squeaking and i don't know what it is....
