Yung Subaru na ipinasa sa akin ng Kuya ko who migrated overseas is I think now about 6 years na ata I think... problems are starting to come out na...

and definitely casa parts and labor are an overkill... sa kabilang banda.. "Kaya mo bumili ng kotse na worth 2M tapos magtitipid ka sa service and Pyesa?" yan ang sagot sa akin nung nag dighay ako about parts cost ng Subaru... kungsabagay.. tama sya..

but the point is.. di ko naman pinili ito... ipinasa lang sa akin... hehe..

so.. saan kaya maaaring maka source ng Subaru parts here outside of casa? and saan kaya maaari din magpa service ng mga Subaru outside of casa?

kasi kung talagang wala.... I think i'll really sell off this unit na lang by next year...

Have you tried fusionR along E Rodriguez? Try dropping by or giving them a call.

Btw, do you mind sharing the problems with your car?

nabilaukan ako doon nung inabutan ako ng butas na radiator... emergency pa man din at busy.. kailangan kailangan kaya pinagawa agad sa casa... grabe.. radiator lang almost 40k na ata...

    isinabay ko na din PMS...

so far sakit ng subaru in my case:
    1. power steering - ilang beses na nagka problem..
    2. stud bolts sa gulong... ang bilis mabiyak

    idagdag ko na aircon..

about early March.. I had what turned out to be freon leak... dinala ko kay Mang Mario (there's a thread around here about him)... pinalitan lang nya ng o-ring... damage was under 1k... lamig na..

after 2 weeks.. it seems... nawalan uli ng freon... so balik uli ako kay Mang Mario .. this time.. o-ring uli.. this time.. nilagyan na ng sealant (can't remember if this is actually the same o-ring na pinalitan nya.. or ibang o-ring yung naunang pinalitan...

now.. again after about 2 weeks... freon uli.. mukhang ala na naamn lamig.. dinala ko kay Mang Mario.. ang advice nya.. ibaba na lahat for full inspection.. since it seems na hindi dun galing sa may sealant ang tagas...

now.. ipa PMS ko muna sa casa yung unit and get an estimate from casa on how much .. most likely mahal na naman.. so malamang dalhin ko kay Mang Mario uli... pyesa na lang siguro... in some other threads it seems Denso has parts for subaru... so hopefully uubra...

problema ko talaga.. body paint.. a few minor scratches here and there... nadagdagan all these years... nag quote na sa akin yung casa before.. pag per panel.. aabot ata ng mga 70k+.. pag hilamos.. mga 90k... eh duda ako i job out din lang nila yun sa labas... ayon sa estimate... well.. bumper ata needs to be replaced (pati yung sensors sa may headlights mounted on the front bumpers).. so i presume kasama yun sa estimate kaya umabot ng ganun kamahal...

Subaru Greenhills farms out all their paint and body works to a place in Sta Mesa.

You to seem to have so much problem with your unit. Care to share what year, model, and mileage ?

Try FusionR. Their radiator for an SH Forester is around 10k. Much cheaper than casa.

Regarding your aircon problem, you can have MI assess and diagnose the issue but have the repair done outside.

Malamang yung nakita ko sa sta mesa na garahe na puno ng Subaru units... yun na yun.. it's just near Lourdes hospital.. pero ayaw makipag usap nung tao dun.. baka nga mahuli ng casa..

Impreza hatchback 2.0 liter (not sure if this is the boxer model)... 50t kms pa lang... 2009 inilabas...

i'm working on a service unit not.. para mapa ayos ko na paint job sa labas... possibly yung sensor muna sa casa... bago yung paint job sa labas... after that.. have to really decide kung ibenta na to or what...

to the unit's defense... for the 5 years na nasa akin ang unit... nung 1st 4 years wala naman halos problema.. nagugulat lang ako sa cost ng PMS .. feeling ko parang BMW (altho never ako nagka BMW) ang presyo sa PMS... itong 5th year lang naglabasan ang issue.. starting last december sa radiator... then this year yung pabalik balik ko sa aircon... stud bolts sa gulong.. well di na naulit mula last year... steering.. well.. yung una reported.. i think the 2nd one was actually a back job from the first...

actually... nag iisip din ako.. kung gagastusan ko (body and all)... then bebenta ko din.. baka price na makuha ko sa bentahan ay mababa din.. masayang / manghinayang lang ako sa pagpapa ayos.... on the other hand.. pag di ko pinaayos... pihado panigurado babaratin ako ng kahit sinumang interesado bumili...

ano kaya best? for 2009 impreza hatchback.. nasa more or less how much na ang lakaran now?

at the time na tinaamaan ako ng radiator issue.. di ko pa alam yung FusionR... sayang nga eh.. ipinasok ko agad casa... december nun and daming appointments and i couldn't afford loss ng service... wala din extra unit na magamit from the office.. kaya i decided ipasok agad... tsktsk.. wrong decision...

nung sumunod sa aircon.. yun na nga ginawa ko... yung evaporator... same unit ata as the forester ang naka kabit.. may tagas.. kay Mang Mario.. 12500 all in (parts / labor)... last week.. uminit uli... upon tracing.. somewhere sa hoses naman ang tagas... so repair uli kay Mang Mario.. sana naman.. last na talaga to... at least for the rest of this year and next...

Hi guys! Just bought my WRX 2015. Where can I get parts for my baby? Ex. Air filters, HID lights, etc. Is it cheaper in the Philippines compared in the US? Thank you guys.

Guys, are there good service centers in Makati aside from MI BGC? My FXT is out of warranty already and I'm looking for a reputable but inexpensive place for servicing. Thanks.

I did a bit of research and there seems to be a limited number of shops who cater to Subaru. Maybe we can list the good shops. Please add or edit as needed.

    FusionR
    Orange Performance
    Coomate Makati (aircon)

I have to replace Legacy's spark plugs and bushings. These will cost me PhP9K and PhP14.5K - parts and labor.

Has any of you had this at significantly lower price at these non-CASA centers?
