2018 XV headlights too bright?

just got a new xv and im driving around at night with the head lights at low beam. i get flashed a couple of times by other drivers coming towards me. as if telling me to switch to low beam.

i switch the lights off and just use the fog lights until they pass.

are the lights too bright or maybe the xv lowbean is directly hitting their windshields becuase of its tall ride?

any remedy to this issue? i feel like an inconsiderate douchbag blinding other drivers around.

There's a headlight height adjuster on the dash in front of your left knee. Try playing around with that.

Should be beside the dash brightness roller. Is this the 2018 model? Our base 2018 has that roller.

yes. it only has the steering responsive headlight button

yung may bilog na white ang "pointer".
yung rough part ang "roller".

Edit: hula ko lang yan. wala akong xv pero ganyan yung pang-adjust ng headlight aim ng unit ko.

Baka mis-aligned yung headlight mo. Check your manual

For 2018 XV with LEDs -- headlights are auto-leveling. Dpat automatic na tumataas/baba yun "linya" ng headlights. Mapapansin mo sa humps/ramps etc. Minsan din pag bagong-start tapos mabigat yun karga mo sa likod makikita mo bumaba yun linya to adjust.

Baka madals downhill dinadaanan mo, pansinin mo kasi kahit naka low-beam ka sa gaynan silaw padin kasalubong mo na pa-akyat. Minsan din akala nang-f-flash ka pag umaakyat ng humps, pero hindi naman.

Compared to regular headlights, oo nga mas maliwanag parang halogen. Pero basta malinis yun linya na nakikita mo na spray pattern at nasa ilalim ng windshield ng kasalubong, dpat di ka nakaka-silaw.
