There are 2 schools of thought on this:

1) Baby your engine for the first few hundred kms to "break-in"
2) Run it like you stole it. Modern engines today are already factory broken-in.

Personally, I made sure than I did not run the engine at a constant speed/rpm for a long period of time (more than 10 minutes).

An engine running is way better than an engine that experiences a lot of start and stop. Mas malakas wear and tear nang start-ups even if you have FS oil in the engine. So kahit brandnew yan at 12 hours na umaanda ay okay lang.

Tignan mo mga nag-ooverhaul nanag makina, mga 10-12 hours din non-stop paandar nila at bantay lang sa engine temp to make sure hindi lalampas sa normal operating temp. Proper setting kasi ang habol nila. Pero tama din na mga 100-120kmh lang muna max mo. Mga 500kms ihataw mo na yan.

Bro Ry mukang di ko nalang dadalhin, padito dito ko nalang be break in..share ko lang tong pulot sa net...mag didiesel muna ko...tsaka para di nakakailang pag napa suot sa mga alanganing lugar..hehe takot pako magasgasan..pag medyo ilang buwan ko na ihaharabas.
