my poorman's shackle, we just fabricated it in the shop, it's around 2" longer than the stock shackle



kalas lahat ng leafs, kailangan baluktutin na uli, diretso na akasi when we removed it( advice to all members, don't load your units with 1 ton worth of cargo everyday, hehehehehe napaka labot lang pala ng stock leafs natin!!)

basically my overall hight increased by 1.5 inches sa rear, yung front ko was also raised by 1.5" with a prior modification... the shocks that i am using are my old set of rancho RS9000( from my suburban) so medyo mahaba yung actuall travel nito, can still afford to put an increase in hight to up to 3" more.

total time it took me and my employees to unbuckle everything, rebend the leafs, reinstall everything up was 6 hours... nag inspection pa kasi kami ng rear axle and differential and regreased all greasable points

ok lang po ba if i buy a set of 2inch lifted shackles from you for my sratda too.

kcboy, sorry pero medyo loaded na ngayun yung gma tao ko, kaka uwi lang kasi ng ibang mga units namin this weekend, so mag general servicing and repair muna kami. i'll let you know kung medyo maluwag na sila uli

sana nga pero alam mo kung magkano 40K additional sa casa just for the 2010 model bumper,kaya 09 na lang participation na lang ang gastos hehehe

guys mangungulit lang uli ako.... this tuesday will be my 1st PMS... afterwards i will change my tires na... still cant decide kung mag 245/70 ako or 265/70.

set na ako sa yoko geolander or goodyear silentarmor... which ever of the 2 ang may available...

sa size nalang talaga ako di makapag decide.... it will be mounted on my stock mags of my glx.

hati kasi ako sa dalawa pati yung ibang pinag tanongan ko hati din ang votes.... gusto ko talaga sana yung 265 kaso concern ko baka pangit tignan sa stock mags baka mag mukang pinilit also malaki ba ang difference ng hatak ng 245 sa 265 o very minimal lang?

para kasing last sa consideration ko yung aesthetics. i want to know the advantage and disadvantage kasi technically if theres any between the two sizes.

i know alot of you guys went tru this too.....

hi po mga sir,bago lang po ako d2 sa thred and ang dami ko pong natutuhan sa inyo,maraming sa lamat po sa pag bibigay ng mga bagong idea sa mga newbee n katulad namin,hingi lang po sana ako ng mga advice sir,balak ko pong pa body paint yung sasakyan ko,2 tone po sya,balak ko po sanang ipa dark black mica and dark gray semi gloss,pag na customize npo yung front bumper ko,kaso natatakot po ako sa ulan,baka di po maayos pag ka paint.try ko pong ipost pic po ng strad ko, pano po b?hahahaha

for me sir, since medyo malaking pera yan wait mo na lang ung summer. Para you're confident na d sya magbubbles, even though naOven sya unless 1 week syang naoven which I guess impossible.

for me i'll go with 265. Yun nga lang, consider mo yung madaling maputikan pag umuulan yung sasakyan mo..

bout sa 245 naman, medyo manipis siya for me, pero advantage naman kung ayaw mong maputikan... (puro putik hehehe)

bout naman sa consumption, i think slight difference lang naman yan... besides walang difference sa hatak kung 265 gagamitin mo, then mas maganda pa yung handling ng strada mo kasi malapad yung tire..

Ah i see... sa putik will buy din naman kasi ng fender flares eh. so wala problem yung pag talsik ng putik unless labas parin siya sa fender flares....
