When you guys upsize your wheels and tires, do you notice any difference in performance/efficiency? Di ko kasi madecide ano gagawin ko sa 2012 glx-v. I've been told that increasing the overall diameter of the tires can screw up a few things.

bro, same here glx pero hindi v, before i used ms sport shoes, 17x60x265. syempre bro mabawasan ng unti yung arangkada nya, di sya kaseng quick dun sa oem tires which 16 lang...smaller total diameter. pero imo, mejo mabilis sya sa hi speed bigger diameter kase yun tires. sa ride "suspension swabe at 30psi parang kotse bro, di mo ramdam ang baku baku na road......but most of all here using 16 x 9 or x 8 x 65 x 275, all terrain will match to your glx since 4x2 lang sya.....opinion lang po yan bro...hope it helps....(today i'm using 20's x 45 x 275...hataw sarap itakbo ng mabilis lapat na lapat sa road at 30psi tire pressure)

Kailan ba EB's niyo? I actually prefer the stock look. Maliit lang talaga. On the way to the office I saw a GLX-V with the stock Montero Sport wheels. Bagay din talaga. Looks much better than the stock GLX. I'm really just concerned with how it will affect the performance and safety of the vehicle.

bro, tingin ko, di mo pagsisihan yun ms sport for your glx-v, ang tagal kung gamit yan more than 2 yrs no hassle.............sigurado yun basta 30 or 32 tire pressure lang...take note 30 or 32 tire pressure....hahahaha esep esep...

Thanks. I'm considering getting the rims and tires of the stock MS, or the stock GLS. Unless makahanap ako ng magandang 16 x 8 na rims. If any of you are selling your stock rims, you might have a buyer here

the club has two members who fabricates those at an affordable price. contact bigblock or manong sael. Sael is Sta Rosa Laguna, Bigblock is from Valenzuela.

Share ko lang po po (how to improve the sound reproduction of the stock 2010 Strada GLX audio system):

1) Turn off loudness and defeat.
2) Turn on HPF (high pass filter) and set to 100Hz.
3) Set bass center frequency to 200Hz and increase to +3 with 4 width (widest parametric eq setting).
4) Set treble center frequency to 10KHz and increase to +3.

I observed the sound reproduction to have more body and bite with some frequency extension (airness) and crisp even without tweeters (6.5inch dual-cone speakers lang ang stock sa doors). Midbass hits with some RnB and Hiphop tracks are punchy and without distortion even at volume 9.

Meron na po bang naka pag pakabit EGT at Boost Gauge sa Strada nila. Para kasing ok din makita ang boost at temp sa dashboard. Yung kaibigan ko nag pakabit pero sa montero na VGT at umaabot daw sya ng 25psi ang boost.

anong offset ng mags mo,bro? sa 0-offset ng 16x8 na mags palagay ko labas na ng konti yan sa fender,kung gusto mo ng 16x10 sa tingin ko may sabit na ng konti,kaya kailangan mo ng ipa-lift;

+20 ang offset. Also nag lagay ako ng 1/8" spacers front and rear para lang lumabas ng konti. Pero bitin pa rin. Thank u for the insight bro..

if you want lang naman na lumabas yung mags and tires what you need to have is a negative offset wheels....=) masyado na malapad 16x10 IMO and hindi na yun kaya ng 265 iacommodate...

Yup, hanggang 16x9 lang ang 265/70r16 or 265/75r16. Pwede din bolt-on wheel spacers gaya nito:

Pero mahirap ata maghanap ng 6x5.5 (139.7 pcd) to 6x5.5 (139.7 pcd) pattern.

finally, nakakuha na rin ako shoes for my 2010 GLX! pa'no po ba mag post ng pics dito? hehe..

got 16 x 8 offset +20 (as advised by people here) and PERFECT siya for me since wala ako fender flares. looks great with 265/70/R16. achieved around 1/2 inch from the edge of my fender and no issues when turning, etc. (again, as indicated by my "advisers" on this thread). salamat ng marami!

kung may flares, baka ok +10 or even 0 offset. ganda siguro nun since ang lapad ng inner lip! my two cents..

on to another topic, meron na ba source dito sa pinas ng honeycomb grills (ie. stock on triton releases in thai, australia, etc.)? tagal na'ko naghahanap. if wala, has anyone ever tried purchasing online? any issues with customs?
