jozef_10: thanks! 20-inch chrome rims * PhP 130,000.00 for the set with tires.

mikko_018: repainted the fender flares and fog lamps cover to body color (in this case, white). i'm trying to go for that mono color look instead of the two-tone original strada color scheme.

    eslonblue: thanks po!

hi 13thprophet, this thread is actually for Strada Club members po sir. But in my opinion, its ok for anyone have a few posts here for comments and questions as i see this particular thread as a "bait" for other strada owners to see what members (internally known as BOSB - Band of Strada Brother) are up to and perhaps you might want to join us too and join the fun...

any questions you might have in mind about The Strada Club of the Philippines can be posted on this thread:

Pioneer powered sub din sa akin under the driver's seat. ok naman tunog. Changed my door speakers to Focals Polykevlar.

Meron din isang member dito pinalagyan niya ng 10" na sub with customized enclosure din. He positioned it sa midlle part ng 2nd row. Panalo ang tunog.....

My audio setup, originally planned for a JL 13TW5 but when the installer fitted the sub at the backseat it would not be possible due to the mechanism of the rear windshield window. Opted for a Focal Polyglass 21V2 situated beneath the glove compartment powered by Planet Audio BB 1 400.1 & a Morel Elate 6 (3-way component) mounted on the dashboard powered by a Steg K4/01. Head unit is a Soundstream VIR 5000 w/ a Soundstream Digi-Q signal processor.

Thank you Ian. It took sometime before I settled for this audio setup, had to weigh all considerations. My main purpose was for sound quality, if I opted for the 13TW5 the solution given for it to fit at the backseat was to move the backseat forward decreasing the leg room which was definitely out as far as I was concerned since the roominess of the rear seat was one of the main factors for us in choosing this truck. Second option was underneath the seats which would not give a good staging for the sound quality. Third was taking out the glove compartment, which for obvious reasons I rejected & the fourth option was underneath the glove compartment. Sound staging is good considering the HU is not an Alpine, the voice is coming from the center of the console where the off axis alignment of the Morel's helped a lot. Will post some pics in the days to come. We would be up in Baguio this 27th of Dec. for a much needed break, will call you once we are settled. Do you still have the same mobile no. +6329185465701?

Cool! Matagal na namin inaabangan post mo, sir. I thought someone would be able to come up with subs behind the back seat for the GLS/GLS sport. I also thought about placing it under the glove compartment, pero baka ma-compromise legroom. BTW, sino installer nyo sir?

Trn495, there is usually a break-in period of around 50 hours for the speakers to be flexible enough for it to give its sound quality which to my estimate I would reach in two mos. So by end of February would be the best time for us to audition my setup. My apologies to the BOSBS for not being able to attend our EB's as I usually retire early in the evening & wake up early (3 or 4 am) the following day.
