TSCP Strada Mods [ARCHIVED]

i am in the process of making my strada's front bumper. Completed the sketch of the bumper yesterday and today made the mock up version using 1/8" thick plywood. Hopefully in the next few days i will have the spare time to make the real one in metal. Planning to install a winch, a couple of tow hooks, and 2 sets of foglamps.

I saw a tow hitch similar to this one in Binan, it is somewhat different because the material used is a round bar for the body. price amounting to 17k excluding the ball, Ball cost 1,500.00

Visited Jeff Offroad shop today to check the correct clearance for the winch. So far my design accomodates the winch and the additional fog lamps. My visit to his shop was timely as he just placed an order for a 4' x 8' x 1/8" thick metal sheet and he'll only be using half of it so he offered me the other half. Hopefully tomorrow the metal sheet will be delivered so I can start making the steel bumper .

Does it look similar to the tow hitch available from GNV? Because the GNV unit was a bit ugly and not worth the price they quoted...IMO only. For the above price, better check out the offering of CB, Tow Ball included na.

The Tow-hitch above was designed with corners, the one i saw from one of the shop in Binan uses a round bar, not so sure though if it is solid round or plain "tubo" but from the weight of it i could assume that it is a solid round bar.... and way better than that of the previous design...

PS. not sure if we can arrange something for us to have a discount on their shop...

I think the BoSB Fabricators can do a better job.

mga bro sana matatapos na today fabrication ng costumized tow hook na ginagawa namin para ma paint na at mai kabit na....this will be installed kahit after market or stock bumpers. and i am very sure for the tibay neto...i'll post agad pag natapos ko na.......me bumili sa front bumper ko, kaya now were on our way in fabrication another new design, stainless steel naman including the step board.....

Quick question lang: I'll be getting a GLX and the first mod I will do is to install fender flares. Yung fender flares po ba ng Miggyboy includes a new splash guard or will I be using the stock splash guard?

sa miggyboy na fender flares, your stock splash guard will not be removed. the flares will blend nicely sa curves ng wheel well mo
