Nice observation, sir Sael . Had to borrow my wife's small C point and shoot camera kasi my N camera won't fit through the holes of the bash plate.

My steel bumper was tested at Edsa today. Did a round trip to Manila and just got back an hour ago. While driving at Edsa around 1PM today, a speeding Honda civic cut through my lane and grazed the right hand corner of my truck. From the vibration felt during the impact, I was expecting to see a huge dent to the side panel of my Strada when I got down to inspect the damage. I was elated when I saw that there seems to be no serious damage at all, just slight grazing on the fender flare and some paint chips at the tip of my steel bumper. I approached the driver who stopped around 10 meters away from my truck and saw the damage to his civic. I told him that my truck seems to be okay. He seemed surprised as I think he was expecting a significant damage to my truck. That’s the time when he walked over to my truck to check. Some MMDA guys came over to the scene of the incident and I can see from their reaction that they’re fascinated with my steel bumper hehe. The driver of the civic acknowledged that it was his fault. I told him that since my truck only suffered some minor scratches, I won’t be demanding anything from him. He asked me for my phone number so he can “explain” daw to his dad what happened and maybe his dad may want to verify with me what really happened. OK so I gave him my number and he left without even saying sorry for the incident. A few minutes later the guy called me up and asked for my plate number. I asked why and he said he’ll be getting a police report so he can have his insurance agency cover the cost of repairing the damage to his car. I told him I am not stupid. So far he hasn’t called me again.

    Here are the pics:

^^^ hi sir G01, I'm glad that you are Moustache are ok and back home up here... thats two in a row today with sir Ohmme on a separate thread!

The driver of that Civic is engot! Snake like driving skills, no apologies from him, delayed response in stopping (di pa yata nag hazard lights) and the nerve to call you!
