Hi, is it wise if im going to buy a GLX and upgrade the fender flares, tires, audio system and sports lid? how much will it cost?. Or buy ko nalang yung GLS? Thanks in advance.

Hi Guys,

New owner lang po (2010 White Strada GLX). Mod ko lang po yung tires from stock 205/80/r16 to 245/70/r16 Dunlop Grandtek AT3. Pansin ko lang po medyo tumagtag yung ride. Talaga po bang matagtag yung ride ng Strada pag ganito ang tires. I set the pressure to 32/32 ganun pa din. Then 29/28 medyo umayos, pero matalbog pa din po yung likod. Ano po kayang magandang gawin para medyo gumanda yung ride. Kasi naawa ako sa baby ko na naka-upo sa likod, pag ndi po aspalt yung road(pavement lang) matalbog sya at parang tumatalon yung nasa rear bench seat ko.

personal experience ko when I changed tires from stock papuntang 265/70/R17 Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ, mas gumanda ang ride. sa tire pressure na 32, talagang matalbog yan... kung wala ka naman mabigat na dala, try mo as low as 25 psi para malabot ang ride (ganyan ang pressure ni docglen)

and I installed pala a top-up bedcover... since medyo mabigat siya, mas gumanda ang ride... comfortable matulog sa rear seat ang baby ko.

intay lang natin ang opinions ng ibang BOSBs...

After installing PSK rear bumper (c/o Dadz) weighing 50+kgs, I noticed na nabawasan ang talbog sa likod. Naka 275/70R16 pala Strada ko. Mas stable sa hiways lalo na sa SLEX na sobrang uneven pagkagawa. Lesser sway since may pangontra na bigat sa magaang rear ng Strada. Ganito rin malamang effect ng top-up bedcover. The cheapest way is to load 50+kg sandbags.

depends if you want 4x4 or 4x2.. GLS is 4x4 and no sports lid.

lets say fender flare nasa 8k-10k
tires: P32K
audio system P20K
sportslid P30k-65K

Ito na naman ako magtatanong. Hehehehe... medyo noob lang po ako sa diesel engine. Gas engine po kasi ang gamit ko simula ng natuto ako mag drive. I do have experience in tuning and maintaining gas powered car pero hindi po sa diesel powered. To make my introduction short.... I'm planning to buy this Racechip sa germany, ask ko lang po if may nakagamit na nito. Base kasi sa claim nila may gain kang 26% hp and 21% of torque, and nawala daw ang turbo lag. Kunin ko sana yung lower model sana. Any personal review may help me decide.

how many of you have had their under carriage undercoated for rust proofing purposes?? i noticed when i was installing the tire lock for the spare tire, the under chasis specifically the rear bed was just primed and not painted which alarmed me, so i had it rust proofed by shell yesterday. they used 2 4pails of shell rust gurd under coat. application took a good 3 hours. the spare tire and the fender liner were taken out to make sure that all metal chasis parts at the bottom were applied evenly.

sorry for the mistake, it was 2 4liter pails of shell rust guard, cost 3,800 plus, i think it is a little cheaper than having it done at the dealership, because my friend's montero sport cost more than 4,000+. i have to wait a few days to have the strada carwashed and detailed because they were some over spray around the corners of the fender and bumpers but no cause for alarm, nothing a good rubbing and cleaning can't take out.hehehehe

Where can I get yung parang net na may apat na hooks? Strechable sana so I can load tall cargos. Lagyan ko ng trapal then the net over it para secure ang cargo.

I've been looking around sa hardware stores wala akong makita. I'm plannin to make one pero I can't find the stretchable ropes.

If I'm not mistaken, I think the closest thing was yung kay Sir Arvi's net.
