share ko lang ang latest mod ko... having leatherette seat covers, leather-covered steering, shift boot, shift knob and hand brake handle and painting the center floor console black to match. sorry medyo low resolution. cellphone cam lang kasi. will try to post a high res tomorrow.

thanks for the comments, as i promised... here are the high res pictures. i added pics of my top up interior light. it is a battery-operated led. Php 160.00 lang each (CHEAP!)

im not too sure if that is possible to start with because you are the first to ask about something like this. what i do know is that you will just unscrew it. but what im doubtful of is IF the Strada's lower stalk is also chrome. Maybe it would be acceptable if it is just plain plastic but will it support the heaviness of the MS shifter? Another challenge with be your OVERDRIVE button... its not present in the MS's and that is needed at the Strada to aide in engine braking and harurot acceleration! just thinking aloud. Good Luck po and let us know if you went for this pursuit.

good point ian, baka mag ka problem yan sa overdrive button, unless the 4x4 variant of the MS has an overdrive button, yung above picture of the Ms shift ftick is for 4x2 variant.... if ever may OD button din ang 4x4 na monty, pedeng pwede na yun, electronic contact switch lang naman ang nakakabit sa mga OD button. madali lang yun i adapt kung may kailangan baguhin

exactly sir ian.. i really like the shift knob of the MS very neat and nicely done.. the only consolation in the 2010 strada gls sport a/t is that the center console is looked like the montero 4x2 na.. kaya i wonder if its possible.. hehehehe..

L2 dapat yan as in Lot #2. Kagagawan yan ng contractor namin. Naubusan ng letter "L" kaya inverted "7" ang ginamit. He he he. Atleast akma sa ride ko. Wala pa akong time para palitan . Thanks Ian.

*sir arvin, actually, the knob of the Montero Sport 2.5 and 3.2 A/T models have no O/D button because of the availability of the sportronic. so if an MS driver needs to control the shifting by avoiding going to 4th, he can simply toggle it to the Left from D. If you will look closely at the attached picture sa post ko, to the right is the leather shift boot for the 4x4 transfer shifter.

*OUT-101, for the OD button on the MS shift knob, piercing the knob to install the button must be done carefully. Torn leather is not a sight to behold... careful, careful...

in case you dont want to pierce the knob, it is also possible to install that O/D switch at one of the empty slots at where you will see the rear power window switch/cigarette lighter is at your 2010 Strada. HTH.

Sir Nano, how much did it cost you po? And how long did it take?

Hi, the leatherette seats cost me 5,500, the leather covered steering - 1,500, the shift knob and shift boot - 1,000, free ang leather for handbrake. 1,500 naman ang pag paint ng black for center floor console. Everything was done in seatmate in Mandaluyong.

4 working days gagawin ang mga seat covers and ang installation naman around 4 hours. Matagal kasi gawin ang sa steering wheel and shift knob.

Regarding sa top up light ko, eveready ang brand nya and double adhesive lang ang pandikit nya, each light requires 3 pcs AAA batteries.

Guys, advise naman. I have several projects i would like to do on my Mistress. First if it is possible to change the dials of the a/c of the glx. Masyado kasing common. Meron kaya akong mabibili na parang pang ganito?

Second project ko, painting my stepboard black. I plan to use the kind of paint na ginagamit sa mga truck bed nung di pa uso ang mga bedliner. Yung parang asphalt sa kapal. Nagagandahan kasi ako sa black na stepboard ng fortuner. Malinis tignan at bagay lalo na sa black na strada. Thanks.
