*Marlowem - Mits Alabang WestGate sir. kahit sino po SA ayus lang, sabihin nyo lang po ang problema alam na nila gagawin dyan... mas mabuti kung kausapin nyo si anton yung Parts Warranty Officer nila... pakisabi na lang na same issue nung kay Mike Rivera (NRO-481).

*RSS - pag wala Rattling sound sir clutch lang papalitan, ganyan din yung unit ko nung simula but after 3 clutch na pinalitan ayun... nauwi din sa Release bearing...

My unit was released yesterday, mukang oknaman... sana wag na bumalik ang issue... pero will update this thread if ever para aware ang lahat ng members...

Sir kimospeed, since you are the "clutch expert"... hehe, tanong ko lang kung gaano katagal magpalit ng clutch. Wala naman issue yung sa akin. Medyo nag-uumpisa lang mag-slip. Baka manipis na. During my 50k PMS, nabanggit ko na sa SA. Test drive sya, tapos ang sabi sa akin "Ok naman sir, hataw pa rin!" Eh sinabi ko na sa kanya na mas halata kung may heavy load, uphill, at sa sand dunes ... Bakit ganun mag-isip ang mga SA? Syempre, araw araw natin dala yung Strada kaya mas alam natin kung may problema. Di naman tayo mag-iimbento ng complaint kung wala naman, diba.

Hello po mga Sirs. Share ko lang po. Update regarding my squeaky wiper blades. Was able to claim for warranty two days ago sa Diamond Marcos. At first ayaw pumayag ng warranty officer pero after explaining to him na since 1kpms pa yung complaint ko then again for my 5k pms pumayag na rin. So long as very well documented yung complaints wala na siya na gawa.

boz, basta nag simula mag slip ang clutch candidate na yan for replacement, malallaman mo naman basta parang may drag and delay yung acceleration mo when you release the clutch pedal, no point in letting it last longer, ikaw din ang mahihirapan pag totally naubos ang linining kasi ang sisirain na nito eh yung flywheel mo naman...

nang magpalit ako ng linning at pressure plate with refacing ng flywheel it took me 2 days kasi nag linis pa kami ng ilalim ng sasakyan, pero kung yung baba tranny palit consumables tapos kabit kagad mga 1 day to 1.5 days max.... kung pulido ang pagkagawa, kung bara bara kaya in less than a day yan

Idol, buti na lang at andyan ka. Inaabangan ko kasi aftermarket clutch kung may mahahanap si sir Dadz. Balak ko pa naman ubusin clutch ko hanggang di na kumakapit... hehehe. joke lang. baka sa Citimotors Alabang ko ipagawa. Syempre dun tayo sa pulido... Salamat.

Meron din sila TOP1 Evolution for diesel fully symthetic din mas mura. parang 260.00 per liter.

Hi Doc - Sorry late reply... when i had mine replaced at Citi Abalang wala pang 1-day, pinasok ko ng 8am tapos for release na ng 4pm, binaba daw buong transmission...

Mga Sirs, inquire lang po. totoo po ba na during PMS kailangan sa Casa mo kunin lahat like filters, engine oils, etc if under warranty ka pa?

Not true sir. Pwede kang magsource sa labas ng mga yan and labor lang sa casa. Just make sure na original parts ang bibilhin at ipapalit mo.

Sir Beni23 thanks sa reply..I'm availing our company carplan and getting a strada. hopefully madeliver na sya next week and i assume it was awarded to Union motors Balintawak(kila Sir Xave ba ito, kami ung kumukuha ng 1 strada at 1 montero with lots of add ons). anywayz..our motorpool have this advisory

Engine oil with a particular SAE grade would come in different types: 1. mineral based, 2. Semi-synthetic, 3. Fully synthetic 4. Special blend. It comes with different lubrication characteristics and special additives, but all can be used based on recommended SAE grade. Our main consideration will be on cost. A fully synthetic engine oil with the same SAE grade will cost 3x that of a mineral based engine oil. Casa and other repair shop would normally recommend to use a fully synthetic engine oil because they are a profit center, normally they would charge a profit margin of 30% of the base price of spare parts. The higher the base price, the higher the profit. A car owner should always have a clear instruction on what type of engine oil he should prefer to use. There is no specification indicated on the label of a Fully synthetic engine oil that says “double engine oil life”.

Hi , for clarification only though I don’t have a carplan yet.

In using a fully synthetic engine oil even with the same SAE grade and viscosity as recommended by the manual will void the warranty? As I understand, using a full synthetic oil is cheaper considering that you can have another change oil after your 10,000km but you should also have your PMS every 5,000km.

1. Using a Fully Synthetic Engine Oil on change oil and following a 10,000 km Preventive Maintenance Schedule


RECOMMENDATION:

1. All is advised to use OEM recommended Engine Oil on your change oil and follow the recommended Preventive Maintenance schedule of every 5,000 km during the warranty coverage period on your vehicle. Usage of fully synthetic engine oil will be allowed after the warranty coverage period provided that the cost in excess of the OEM recommended Engine Oil will be shouldered by the employee. Failure to comply with this advised note will be a ground for denying a repair subsidy claim.

tormis, i hate to say this but there are a lot of things in your company circular that i greatly disagree with, but then again it is your company's SOP so that's what you have to live with.

if i was to start preaching about oils and the maintenance regimen, hahaba lang lalo yung usapan and magiging paulit ulit lang dito.

my advice to you, stick to what is allocated within your company memos, sagot namn nila yan pag may nagloko diba?

Hi Sir Arvin thanks for the reply, actually 50/50 sharing po on PMS. that is why I'm soliciting thoughts from the group as i've read a lot of discussion that doesn't conform with our company car plan policies. I want to rock the boat po ika nga. kaya lang i dont have the expertise and knowledge on the topic. I been back reading your discussion since last year :headache:and learn so much that when we are discussing with my peers as if I know a lot of things. hehehe.

parekoy, yan kasi ang mahirap kung may kahati sa pms cost or totally someone else paying for it.... you have to abide to with what they really think is right and proper kahit minsan or madalas misled naman yung mga alam nila. it's a eall pain in the ass believe me... but there's really nothing much you can do about it...

yung issues regarding oils is a discussion and argument as old as oil itself, everyone has there own opinion regarding the subject and most are misled/misdirected, with some people even objecting to the statements of the body regulating oil and lubricants which in this case is the API and also the ISO...

just always remember that each vehicle manufacturer has their own spec requirements for their engines, just follow the requirements. most often than not, some manufacturer specs greatly exceed the others.. case in point is that japanese oem specs are way below par to european and american vehicle specs when it comes to lubricants, that is why you would usually see on lubricant labels these things : meets/exceeds.conforms to .............bmw/porche/MB/cat/mack/volvo/GM etc.... followed by a certain number....

i usually live with the mack and MB conformity when it comes to oils... just a personal preference though

I bring my strada their almost out of warranty na, because it was the last day na of the warranty.. I look for the Service Manager and talk to Mr. Aguirre he immediately called Anton for the Verification... Then he called MMPC if they can replace the parts for free... whalla it free! They will clean my intake manifold, because it was already clog daw..
