Correction on my post. It's the fuel filter that's P2.6k.

Anyways, about the steering column assembly, sinoli ba sa inyo yung defective steering column? Ang binalik lang sa akin ay air cleaner, fuel filter at isang diesel treatment can.

SA said any defective parts are returned to the factory.

BTW, what's the best underwash in Makati or Ortigas area? And do I have to look out for. It's my first time. And dumi na ng ilalim.

Pag under warranty yung pinalitang pyesa di na sinasauli...pero pag di na under warranty at binayaran mo na yung piyesa yun yung sinasauli nila sa owner yung defective na parts.

Hello everyone! Im a noob here and just got my Advie GLS at Citimotors last nov. 19. I wasnt aware of the notoriety of the said dealer until now. My problem is that ill soon avail of the 1k km check up. lumampas n nga ako sa 1k km kc halos mag 2k km na hehe. I called Citimotors and asked if I could bring my own oil and oil Filter but they said that it isnt allowed.. even the 5k km check up. Is this really the practice or is there a way to get around the system? anu b diskarte sa mga bagay na ganito? Thanks in advance for those who'll share their knowledge. Peace!^^

OO nga dude pang Strada ito; punta ka sa MAC Forum e google mo....madami kayo doon. Since kapatid ka naman sa Makina ang payo ko is to go to Diamond-QA, alam nila ang gagawin nila pag lumagpas ka sa 1K (going to 2k), when I had my unit serviced with them, I overheard a guy having the same situation like yours.. there is a work around so I suggest you call them. HTH

the upside is na bypass ko na yung regular procedure ng warranty claim of the steering column which is clamp there and that tapos balik after a few days saka palang papalitan...

Bakit ba the dealerships wants to have top ups pa for our rigs every 5k kms? if the oil and oil filter is both good for 10k Kms naman right?

OO nga - thanks for pointing this out. I used to buy my OEM filter for my L300, it is indicated 10,000kms but since O use synthethic blend, I replaced it every 7000km. Now I am using VIC, cheaper by Php300 to Php400 depending where the store you get it, forced habit na rin, have it replaced every 7000km. Pasadong pasado pa naman sa emissionn testing.

Sana ma bigyan ng linaw ito para go 100% Synthethic na ako..

to get some cash out of your pocket i guess hehehe i try this when i have 10K then 20K na ako nagpalit ng filter wala man sinabi yung sa casa nagpalinis pa ako ng EGR, wala na top-up full synthetic naman ang gamit ko

nagiging normal procedure na, e add nila yung top up 1 liter sa quotation, pano kung hinde kailangan top up nasa level pa ang langis, it means nag bayad tayo ng 1 lit for nothing? and kung mag top up man yan ilang ml lang yun.

for my 15k pms.

had it done at shell paranaque gas station, no hassle at all 2 hours lang and it was a learning experienced for me, kasi nakikita ko kung pano gawin like change oil, palit ng oil filter and linisin yung air filter. with question and answer pa with the mechanic.

mineral lang ginamit ko nung nag 10k pms ako sa casa, pag ka flush durning 15k change oil sobrang itim.

breakdown:
oil - 7 lits of shell helix diesel plus = 2500
oil filter from casa mits oem = 900. meron din silang vic japan replacement.
labor = 200

total = 3600

6.5 lang bali ang langis na nagamit sa 2.5 glx, nag level na agad. masama daw yung masyadong force drain ng langis metal to metal daw mag kikiskisan during first starpup. inuwi ko pa yung natira. nag taka nga ako kala ko 7 - 8 talaga kailangan?

yung nag papabanlaw ng langis dyan, usually mineral lang ginagamit para di sayang.

Wow. Grabe ang PMS at 40k km. After 3 years and 2 months, my original GS battery had finally gave up. But not bad i may say. So GS brand is not bad after all.

Bought motolite gold mf at P5000 minus old battery trade in. I hope to also get 3 years from it.

If oil is very dark, it's possible that the oil was not changed during 10T km.

i'm not oil expert, as per mechanic, the mits oil are not that good. maitim daw talaga. imagine the price of mits mineral or synthetic oil nila mura na kung tutuusin compared to other known brands.
