i would greatly suggest going full synthetic. pero you can go partial synth/blended or dino/mineral if you want. just be vigilant with your oil change.... marami nga nagsasabi na ilang pung libong kilometro na tinakbo ng sasakyan nila without change oil okay pa din daw, no point arguing with that. the same case na there is no reason for you not to change your oil diba. i've been there, and i've done that.... nakatipid ka nga ng kaunti pero at what cost in the long run?

just stick with the more known brands.. theres' castrol, mobil, enoc, eneos, royal purp, shell, etc... napakarami nila kasi eh

i believe shell has the synthetic brand pero am not sure kung available sa mga stations, sa mga big hardware(truevalue, ace, etc) parang mayrun sila. as for caltex dati mayrun din sila, pero parang nawala na din eh. petron claims that yung trekker nila is synthetic pero i think it's just blended/semi.

as for caltex and shell, parang imported yung mga synth oils nila.

again you guys can use dino/mineral oil if you want, there's no problem there, just be sure not to abuse the change oil regimen... stick to the 5K km oil and filter change when using dino oil

I checked the oil level of my rig a while ago and noticed na very light golden brown pa rin siya as if it is new, hindi man lang nag black which is typical for diesel engine... my question -- is the original or stock oil for our virgin Strada motor synthethic? Ganito rin kaya ang effect even if I used a Mitsu-Mineral-Oil? Kung ito ang characteristic ng Synthethic Oil ng Mitsu Oil, I may consider going Synthetic tomorrow.. oh hindi kaya bago lang ang engine ko kaya ganito pa ang result sa engine oil?

    Your feedback please...

Kay L300 kasi, golden brown lang siya pag newly changed oil, pag takbo na niya, magiging light black na siya...
Yep. Ganun talaga kulay sir. Pero wala naman kaso kung mag mineral oil kayo sa 1k or synthetic oil.

My SA said my 20k PMS will cost me more or less P15k! May "tokotok" pa ang steering wheel and the usual uneven stance. They said papalitan naman ang steering column and the springs AFAIK coz they have stocks na.

That's after waiting for 4 months for the "stocks" to arrive.

Plus air, fuel, oil filters etc-etc at pati aircon filters.

Is this reasonable? It will take them 2 days to do everything.

    Is this again reasonable?

    TIA.

They'll check it muna and if there's a need to replace, they'll replace it.

I'm just wondering if the price justifies the above jobs. A bit steep for me.
