Bakit po kaya dalawang klase yung gear oil na nakasaad dito?

good day po mga BOSBs, im planning on getting a pick-up in the future & i think Strada is first in my list but based on this thread your unit have the most expensive PMS in its class...i was wondering if the casa can allow the customer/s to delete or at least minimized the additives and/or lubricants use every PMS..

let say cut back on Varsol, Car Care Kit & rags..

if they allow the engine oil to be sourced outside casa why not the fuel, oil & air filter which is much cheaper i think?

i really like this brand but the PMS is somewhat discouraging, any convincing words is a deciding factor to change my mind..thanks!

depends sa dealer, but most allow you to bring in parts, basta original sir.

most of us, decline the varsol, car care kit and oil we bring. but yes sir, muhka nga mahal.

The one i posted sir is a heavy checkup. And from what I remembered, heavy checkups are made during 60k, 80k and 100k onwards.

And yes we can cut back on Varsol, car care kit & rags. Nakakalimutan ko lang sabihin sa SA ko yang mga yan, ang nasasabi ko lang kasi is yung Diesel - Gas treatment and Engine flush na tanggalin. Plus kulang lang ako sa time niyan at uuwi na ako ng probinsya sir kaya naghurry ako magpaPMS baka lang kasi magkaprob pa sa daan kaya pacheckup muna.

About the sourcing, yes sir, pwede po magsource sa labas ng casa niyan. For the air filter, I already have the k&n lifetime airfilter. And for the fuel filter, kinuha ko yung used ko para bibili na lang ako sa labas para sa next PMS.

Sir beni23, wala pa bang internal engine (like belts) and underchassis parts pinalitan for the 60k chekup? running 55k na kasi ako, want to know what to expect. How about EGR and SCV check at Diamond Q Ave? Last month kasi I requested this sa Diamond Fairview eh hindi nila nagawa at out-of -order daw computer nila that is to be used for this. They told me that I'll be notified once ok na but up to now wala pa akong notification. TIA sir.

ako I have been advice na palitin na ang mga engine belts...hehe Im running at 51k as of today....3.2 yung akin...regarding sa SCV and EGR kung wala ka namang nararamdam na symptoms ibig sabihin ok parin yun...

pag may symptoms na nag persist consult your doctor este SA....

Thanks sir lr! Had consulted them tungkol sa irregular feed/kadyot nang gas sa low rev*low gear kapag umaga tho nawawala din after a few kilometers or kapag quite warmed-up na engine. 'Hope makuha sa tuning or kapag naibirit na ulit this coming nov 1. More power! (sa inyo po, kasi the strada has ample of it already, hehe... tho the upcoming vgt version would be exciting to see)

nangyari din sa akin yan in the past sir. tingin ko bad diesel ang isang cause ng irregular feed/kadyot na yan sir. try mo magpakarga ng diesel dun sa mga gas stations na hindi binabaha and iwas ka din dun sa mga gas stations na bagong fill-up lang ng fuel reserves nila. kasi pag ganun hindi pa nagsa-subside yung mga lumulutang na dumi sa fuel reserves nila..

ngayon i try to fill-up diesel dun sa mga trusted ko ng mga gas stations, hindi ko na nararamdaman yung kadyot na yun sir, hehehe..

Sir Traker, wala pong pinalitan sa akin na belts. Ang alam ko lang na ginawa is inadjust yung belt sa aircon kasi I told them na may naririnig akong weird sounds sa engine bay, yun daw pala yun. About the SCV and EGR, wala pa rin naman ako nararamdaman, panay birit kasi. Haha. 60.5k na agad takbo nung akin ngayon.

Ganito yung sinasabi ko before sa EGR ko na halos milimeter nalang ang butas, nung 35K yata ako nagpalinis ng EGR or 40K yata..

Yung cleaning ng EGR is P 800.00 sa citimotors, Hindi ko lang alam sa ibang casa kung magkano. dapat daw talaga ang cleaning ng EGR is every 20k.
sir lahat ng casa naglilinis na sila nito as per advise yata sa planta.
