*G01 and Brynlops- thanks for the input... I'm communicating with alainroyce as we speak... for communication with MMPC.
*Brynlops- how did they convince you to put those additives in your truck?

mga bossing, great thread. this will surely help future buyers.
anyway, i really do believe that engine treatment and engine flush are unnecessary. it only adds profit to the casa but no benefit at all on the engine. if you really like engine flush check the labels and make sure its not kerosine based. one more thing, a good engine flush is your left over engine oil from previous PMS's combined. but then again you don't really need engine flush since its a new engine and will be change oil every 5km.
mga BOSBs, check this out... this is for the Adventure GLS thread and it seems that the gear oil change procedure is also being done at Freeway- another Northern Luzon Mitsubishi Dealer Franchise. So does this mean that the 3 main franchises (Motorplaza- Northwest; Freeway- Northeast; Carworld- Central) of Mitsubishi for north of Manila is doing the same camote???

Gear/Tranny Oil Change Verdict (i can't change the spelling)
Based on my conversations with AlainRoyce regarding this, there is no need to change the Gear/Tranny Oils on the 1k PMS. This practice is being done in most dealers: It occured at Motorplaza with G01, Freeway with an Adventure GLS Sport owner, Carworld with Brynlops and Boz with Citimotors (and it wasn't documented with his receipt!). I'm pretty sure that other dealers might be doing the same since 4 dealers have already been reported! I have suggested to AlainRoyce's acquaintance with MMPC that a Major Alignment session should be made between the plant and the dealers on what exactly should be done. In that way, it will save time, money, resources, effort on both sides therefore creating a win-win deal for everyone.
*G01, Brynlops, Boz, AlainRoyce and TSCP Mods- with the abovementioned statement made for clarification, i rest my case. Thank you.

I've had my 1000k at Union motors in paco I was surprissed that they also charged me for engine flushing na ndi naman recommended. Isa pa na badtrip is sabi nila even 4d56 engines requires full syn so wla ako choice nagulat ako nung bill ko 6plus na... nawala ko na ksi breakdown...pero ung alarming is they put a motul crdi na wla nman sa display nila and wla sila cnasabi... nalaman ko pa when i checked the part no. sa parts section kung anong brand oil ginamit ksi ang mahal...i mean motul is much better pero the price they charged was 650 per liter kya inabot cguro ako 6k i thought turbo xp lalagay kasi un ung standard na full syn sa casa...
Its been my first tym to have a mitsu vehicle and its very alarming reading from all the previous posts...sana magawan ng systema ang service nila from the management after all casa sila![]()
i dont think it's only Mitsubishi who is practicing this bad service. That's why it is good we have threads like this. However, motul synthetic is better than XP, so no need to worry sir. It is always good to be a well informed owner when having things service so they know they can't fool you. At the end of the day, casa is there to make money.
I lost my service booklet. How do I get one real fast??? Can our Service Manager friend in Diamond Motors Qave. help?? Many thanks.
moxxxs
Sir moxxxs, sa Union Motors Paco ka nagpapa-service di ba? Have you tried to request for another one from them? Kasi, pagkaalam ko, nasa computer database nila ung service record mo and they can issue a duplicate on request.
And if I may ask, why do you need it "real fast"?Kala ko sa pagmamaneho ka lang real fast, hehehe.

I'd want to ask narin since it in lined with PMS
Ano po ba talaga ang mga kailangang at di kailangan gawain
during 1k 5k 10k so on PMS?
Para po sana sa mga katulad ko na malapit na rin bumisita sa casa.
thanks alot!![]()
*zurg656- welcome to the thread!thanks for sharing your entry of your 1k PMS. lets wait for what the other BOSBs will say about this. but IMO, the price of the oil is a bit high. and i'm glad they didn't change the gear/tranny oil this time.
*locoroco777- welcome to the thread too!IMO, simply bring your truck to the casa and they will know what to do. to live it up to your expectations, simply read your service manual. it has been listed there on what exactly should be accomplished- no more, no less. there is no need for any other unecessary additivies and you have the right to ask them about any questionable charge on your bill.
*locoroco777 and zurg656: may i know your truck's model? 2.5 GL, GLX, GLS or 3.2 GLS Sport? and what dealer was it purchased? thanks.
