Just A Warning to all i have posted this to the mods thread also.......Im running my engine hard to the max on road and off road. Before for 4 years i dont have a catch can after checking my intercooler pipes last year i found oil in the pipes coming from the engine breather. Yesterday this is what it all show's.

Oil is visible inside the intercooler it self making it in efficient in cooling down the compress air.........................and the pipes have a sticky gunk inside.




Inter cooler should not have oil inside as much as possible it needs to clean inside so that the compress air can move freely to the intake manifold.

partner the catch can should last longer than your car, may drain hole naman kasi yan, you have to drain the oil every so often, kasi pag napuno yan, eh ma defeat na ang purpose niya... no problem installing in a young car, pero medyo waste of money pa siya at that point, pero if you want to get ahead of everything no problem doing so

Tama sir me na kita ako nag catch can sa S4S plus sila na ang mag install. Just use the one with big tubes kasi yung maliit na tubes pang gas type siya.

i'm getting to it, yung mga change oil sigurado na yan, yung egr cleaning malapitlkapit na din. yung cleaning ng mga intercooler pagisipan ko pa, matrabaho kasi mag baklas ng bumper at grill eh..hehehehe yung akin nga bihira ko lang gawin eh...

baka by the end of the month tumanggap na ako ng schedules for servicing.... yung replacement of transmission fluid for those using automatic transmission baka magawa ko na din, i am just waiting on the arrival of the suction machine, para siguradong simut lahat ng lumang langis bago tayo mag palit ng bago... also am just waiting on my obd2 unit/software for clearing and reading error codes... hay gastos na naman to!!!

Mt. Pulag trek (first time or take 2), anyone?

Sirs Mighty Max and EJ C. (my cousin) - both Fellow BOSBs (NL) would like to trek upwards to the Playgrounds of the Gods on Feb. 5-6. I gave them details on of our trek last year including some do's and don'ts on the camp site and on the summit that i can recall INCLUDING refraining of bringing of LOMIs to avoid the rain! and the super low temperatures as well. Should any BOSB wish to join them, we can arrange an assembly point at the early morning (about 5 - 6am) of Feb 5 either at Jay-J inasal, Legarda Road or at the Mitsubishi-Motorplaza showroom along Bokawkan Road or anywhere else strategic prior to starting the journey that will lead to the trek upwards.

In as much as I want to join them, I can't due to me work schedule...

Tnx sa info 4x4 guru. Nasa ilalim ba yan ilagay ang catch can? Kasi im wondering kung mahirap or messy ba mag drain ng oil from the catch can.

not really, madali naman gawan ng aluluod yan, and the amount of oil is not really that much after so mnay thousand kilometers
