And one more thing I notice, sabi locked elbows? Karamihan ng nakita kong websites sabi wag daw i-lock ang elbows, this could cause injury and add more strain.

I have been using the no thumb grip forever and I find it harder for me to wrap my thumb.

may nag reply sa question about locking:

posted by OverloadI try not to lock out on any exercise but I forget sometimes. You'd be better off not locking out as that also keeps constant tension on the muscle being worked in addition to perhaps preventing injury.
In addition, kahit pull-ups (wide grip) ko no-thumb din. with thumbs ako sa mga curls' exercises.

Also, Protein Protein Protein and more Protein daw. So I ordered the AST VP2 and the Ny-tro Pro kse I dont have time to prepare my baon, too busy for school and work. I dont miss a morning without any cereal anyway. I have been taking Nitrovarin for a year, useless. So try ko naman yung AST products.

    Goodluck to us!

I just had to re-read this again, unang basa ko kala ko Nutri-buns. Yung tinapay, ahehehe. :bwahaha:

So what's your final verdict with regards to thumb grips? Wrapped or aligned? Anyway, I've been working out with both and no problems at all.

Iwasan nga lang mag-lock, kahit ako pumapalya pag nalilimutan at pagod na. :D

I think whatever suits your comfort level Jon with regards to the thumb position.

As for elbow locking, ibang camp ang body building vs powerlifting sa ganyan eh... I'd think locking the elbows would provide a "little" rest period during the positive phase of the lift...

Goes to show... Diet is key talaga if transformation ang habol, without protein, there's no weight gain, without calorie/sugar cutback, no fat loss.

    mga dudes...

ano magandang gloves?sabi sakin wag nike...kasi daw bumabaho (wooshoo..namamahalan lang ako..herherherh)

HARBINGER ok ba?may leather at garter part siya. (390 pesos in alimall..hehrehrerh)

im using LP kasi eh..wasak na.

Gamit ko ngayon Harbinger, with wrist support.

I tried several brands of gloves, talagang kinakalyo ako.

Ano pa nga pala iba nyo pang paraphernalia sa gym aside from towel of course. Naka UnderArmour headband sana UnderArmour jock strap din ako, then Nylon 2" belt.

As far as amoy, yung mga dyed leather ang may amoy. Try to smell it before you buy, kapag amoy dye, mas mataas ang chance mo na mangamoy yon. Itong Harbinger ko, may NoSweat lining. Extended contoured finger length para wala ding kalyo when doing curls. Yung model ng gloves ko, they dont usually have it on local stores that I know of. I needed to order it from a fitness store 50 miles away which specializes in weight training.

glenn, para hwag bumaho, use gloves with leather fronts tapos cloth (woven) backs. tapos syempre, try to wash it at most once a week.

Washing them once a week will be fine, don't hang 'em dry under the sun! Kukunat ang balat at dun maguumpisang masira. Just hang them somewhere dry and safe. Matutuyo din yan eventually. Yung gamit kong Harbinger wala namang amoy, yes it has leather parts. Inverted leather dun sa palm part for more grip. Elastic garter on the back part of your hand so that skin could breathe.

I also use 8 inch belt for lower back protection & abdominal compress. The brand just slipped off my mind while replying.
