Yup Diet is good, it does really help. I was once 180 who wore size 34 jeans. Now, I'm 154 and onto size 31 jeans... diet helps but you need to perform STRENUOUS QUALITY EXERCISE as well. I see some people go to the gym, hop on the tread mill then suddenly pullout a newspaper and read while walking ever so slowly
Men's health magazine also helps hehehe
Add some oranic soya milk and ice, put all in the blender ... delish! My favorite is choco whey - banana
Meal # 4 (My post workout meal)
½ banana
2 scoops protein powder

Am not a big diet fan in the "fad" sense of the word but rather advocate healthy eating since that is easier to maintain in a lifetime.
and +1 on genetics. Unfortunately not all will be destined to have 6-packs.
