June 2nd, 2011 12:18 PM #11he should've finalized and announced this at the start of last season para mabigyan siya ng tribute in every city he played in for the last time, ala MJ. never the less, it was fun watching him for 19 seasons! somehow, parang magkaka-void na ang nba now that the last true banging, low posting center has retired.

This guy was my basketball idol growing up. I used to have those Reebok Pump rubber shoes of his.
Other centers could not stop him... so they thought of Hack-a-Shaq technique. haha.

While the idea of HACK-A-SHAQ of intentionally fouling bad free throw shooters was not first implemented on Shaq but actually on Dennis Rodman, pero dahil kay Shaq the term was coined...

I agree, he surpassed Hakeem. Pero nung 1996, he was star-struck pa eh, aminado din siya in one of his interviews. He showed too much respect nga daw.
I can't forget how he dunked on both David and Tim Duncan. Winalis eh.
