Lock, stock, and barrel ang style yan. Pagdating dito, they sell them per piece. That’s how they make money hehe.

I just bought my 1st folding bike from a Japanese surplus shop/car wash. 3.3K.

Ever since, I bike at least an hour daily. Rejuvenating!

The design is an American one - Schwinn. Though sa Japan, equipped siya with a 6 speed Shimano drivetrain[emoji1362]

    20's for general purpose use

    Tern Link
    Dahon Route
Bihira ang Brompton at Bickerton(made by Tern)
B'Twin out of stock sa Decathlon
Crius with LitePro material bihira narin mukhang sarado na shop sa Caloocan
Surplus na aluminum frame 14kgs and down ranging from 9-12k sa pier, better mag b'new.
Avoid China baka madisgrasya, though Ok na rin yung Trinx at Sava kung wala mahanap na branded

Kung e-folding bike maganda sana yung Tern Vectron with bosch motor. Ang available locally ay Fiido M1 fat tyres at Trinx Navigator 16".

Anything below 20" parang cute na laruan o scooter.
Anything 26-27.5" swak sa likod ng SUV no need for bike rack.

Sayang yun Dahon when I saw one sa surplus nasa 7K kasi kaya namahalan ako. But now I know kung bakit mataas ang resale value ng Dahon [emoji846]

just came from 2 malls and several mom & pop paint supply shops using my folding bike. naghahanap ng materials para sa diy pintura sa skid plate ng truck ko.

sarap sa main roads konting sasakyan kaya hataw. nakaka 22-25kph ako in some stretches. pero 6 kms lang naman biniyahe ko round trip.

Make sure to invest on “cable locks” para masecure mo sa mga poste dyan hehe. Mine came with a “rim lock” kaya swerte ko din. [emoji1362]

Hahaha! Doc, one advantage of having a “surplus” bike is it won’t be too appealing to bike nappers anymore . . . sana hehe

I plan of upgrading the crankset from a 42T to a 52T. Nakaka layo na din kasi ako lately and longer stretches of road ahead [emoji4]
