well... bioequivalent would be the term...

reminds me of a patented drug that was produced as a trihydrate...

then somebody had the bright idea of marketing it as a bihydrate and gets away with it...

innovator loses a lot of money from research etc...

smartarse well... you get the picture...

    but... oh well...

not quite, research nyo USANA before you assume anything It's from my personal experience and sa mga kakilala ko din... There is a reason kung bat MLM ang way ng pagdistribute neto sa mga consumers. kasi if direct selling : that would be - distributor----> customer
if pag sa iba : dadaan pa yan sa local and regional distribution company bago sa market bago sa client. ung cost imbes na full sa product nakacut because of these other costs... now, do you really think ung gngmit nyo ngyon na binili nyo sa market is really what's your money's worth? Research po muna

it's not even about bioequivalence (like generic drugs vs branded with expired patents)

there are no patents involved in vitamins

if you want to come up with your multivitamin brand, just look for a contract manufacturer and order

    http://www.alibaba.com/trade/search?...mpany_en&fsb=y

    http://www.alibaba.com/product-gs/21...ivitamins.html
    Multivitamins
    FOB Price: Get Latest Price
    Port: Shanghai
    Minimum Order Quantity:
    500,000 Piece/Pieces
Supply Ability: 2,000,000,000 Piece/Pieces per Year
    Payment Terms: L/C,T/T
give it a catchy brand name, package it right, promote and hype the hell out of it

    yeah yeah

    research my a$#

all mulitivitamins are basically the same

the raw materials are the same

iba iba lang ang raw material suppliers (most of them from China. Kahit US brand yan, the raw materials are mostly imported from China. Naturally, they won't say where they get the raw materials)

the differences are in branding, packaging, marketing

There is a reason kung bat MLM ang way ng pagdistribute neto sa mga consumers
coz it makes tons of money for the top 2% of the network

    you're all the same

USANA, Amway, 1st Quadrant, Nuskin, Neways, Xango, Goji, Noni, Forever Living, Stem Enhance etc

    ^was referring to Zeus' reply

and bioequivalence isn't merely limited to generic vs. branded drugs...

it also applies to QC assays when comparing them to standards, in vivo/in vitro studies, etc...

bioequivalence after all is one of the variables of pharmacoeconomics...

but yeah... same thing at a different price... who are you kidding?

BTW, kung quality ang pag uusapan, buy dietary supplements from Canada

Unlike in the US where dietary supplements do not need FDA approval, Canada requires dietary supplements to be approved by Health Canada before they can be sold in the country

at least you know a govt agency screened them

    ^yep

most of the time when we do assays of vitamin C's, their actual contents barely reach 90% of the label claim

usually companies just fill them with diluent...

though I must say... I'm impressed with the peeps who came up with Sodium Ascorbate...

does have a better in vitro result...
