    BTW: Congrats pilipinas team. I agree with shadow, kelangan pa natin maging consistent sa paggamit ng plays kahit pick n roll lang muna then some screen n roll offense rather than isolation plays.

    Pero nalilito ako hinde pala Olympic qualifying ngayon and next year...so all of this is not for Olympic...

    Qualifying for Olympic is sa 2015 FIBA Asia pa pala...patay na marami ng maalis sa team PHL by the time...

    Magandang idea iyan bro...

    Iba talaga ang galaw nila,- taking full advantage of the team aspect of the game...

    Hindi totally dependent sa individual plays and talents...

    Sana may mag-pondo....

    Siguro ang pinakamagandang defense na gawin nila mamaya is full court press and trap. Kung walang Douthit mamaya, mahihirapan talaga sila doon sa sentro ng Iran. Wala ni isa sa atin ang kayang kalabawin yun 7'3" na yun. Defense ang key ng Gilas dito mamaya. Pag sumablay sila sa defense, mahihirapan sila manalo.

    For me, the key is shutting down their point guard. Khamrany is the heart and soul of the Iranian team.

    Iba talaga yun galaw nila eh kahit mauubos na shot clock walang nagpapanic then walang nagigigng hero na will take the hurried shot ikot pa rin bola to find the open man..saka yun passing nila talagang iba...

    I'm not being a negative or crab, pero napaka swerte lang natin dahil pumasok yun mga tira ni alapag, but that couple plays was a PBA/NBA type na relying on individual skills.

    Another factor swerte rin tayo ang sama ng group ng Korea...I think fatigue also caught up with them...hehehe china and Iran mauubos ka talaga doon...

    Basta I'm excited about tonight's game, Iran is the prototype team na makakalaban natin in world stage...

    I'm just hoping with this successful campaign hinde maging false hope sa atin na effective ang individual/NBA style brand of basketball...

    Saka sana hinde masala sa focus napaka dami pa dapat maim prove...no.# 1 outside shooting...talagang it will play dividends pag maganda outside shooting as a team not individually nanaman...yes we have 2-3 shooters but dapat start to improve na yun mga big men natin sa outside shooting...pag balik nanaman sa PBA, back to NBA flashy style...then start na lang pag malapit na world championship....consistent dapat huwag na kaya pabalikin sa mga PBA teams mga team PH, they just travel the world to polish their game
