ang dami daw mag-skip ng pba draft. pati daw si baltazar east asia bound na.

even the national coach of south korea is in town to scout for talents.

IMHO okay din ito kasi FIBA rules usually sa ibang bansa, if ever pwede maglaro mga yan sa SEAG at ASEAN Games or olympics if papalarin is mas kabisado nila FIBA rules unlike PBA na NBA ang ginagaya. More work for local talents as well though less popular na nga lang PBA.

    IMO.

PBA should allow a team to draft a player kahit hindi maglalaro yung player sa team nila.

    Same like sa NBA.

So a Team like SMB and TNT can draft a guy like Baltazar or Kai, pero its a risk they'll take if the player decided never to play in the PBA.

Either they draft someone who can help the team now, or they draft someone who they hope can play for them in the future.

Good suggestion ito. Makes for some lottery picks being more valuable than what they seem. It could make small teams competitive and then have a good piec to leverage come trade deadlines when their value goes much higher.

Trade rather than get nothing after 3-5 years of really good performance.

    Yup.

Imagine if Thirdy Ravena joins the PBA Draft.

It will be too risky for a team like Terrafirma or Blackwater to use a high pick for him as no one's sure if he'll ever play for the PBA.

Pero a team like Ginebra or TNT can take that risk.

PBA na ulit... (continued)
