He-he! Patay kang bata ka, pangatawanan niyo ngayon yan. Puro kayo talo.

PBA summons Cruz, Purefoods trainer, Belasco

    The Philippine Star 04/04/2006

Red Bull players Celino Cruz and Junthy Valenzuela, and Purefoods trainer Patrick Esmundo face possible sanction for their involvement in a commotion that marred the endgame of the Bulls-Giants encounter Friday at the Astrodome.

Alaska’s Nic Belasco may likewise be penalized for his misconduct after the final buzzer of their game against Barangay Ginebra Sunday at the Araneta Coliseum.

The three involved were summoned to appear at the Commissioner’s Office today by PBA technical chief Perry Martinez.

Esmundo apparently uttered foul words against the Bulls at the end of the Red Bull-Purefoods contest, prompting Valenzuela to confront him that nearly triggered a fight.

Tension ran high as Cruz gave Eugene Tejada a hard foul a few seconds left in the game won by the Giants.

"We want to know what happened that’s why we want to hear both sides," said Martinez.

Belasco, meanwhile, faces possible sanction for throwing the ball at Mark Caguioa at the end of their game Sunday.

BEERMEN MAKE IT 4 IN A ROW TO GRAB SOLO LEAD

It was a big win for San Miguel which faced the conference’s top defensive team Purefoods which has limited its opponents to just 79.9 per game prior the tussle.
But it wasn’t only the Giants’ defense that was absent Sunday night as their offense also sputtered the whole game particularly starters James Yap and Kerby Raymundo who were held below their scoring averages.

    The scores:
    San Miguel Beer 93 – Seigle 30, Hontiveros 19, Ildefonso 14, Pena 11, Cablay 6, Calaguio 5, Racela 4, Noble 4, Kong 0, Lopez 0, Gonzales 0, Adriano 0.
    Purefoods 77 – Tejada 17, J. Yap 12, Limpot 10, Raymundo 10, R. Yap 7, Pingris 7, Artadi 6, Castillo 4, Evangelista 2, Yee 2, Billones 0.
    Quarters: 21-14, 40-31, 76-59, 93 -77 .
