    Hype and money. Nothing else.

About this fight. Bradley was not that convincing. Pacquiao was not really stellar, either.

So it falls down to the promoter to generate hype and controversy to keep things interesting.

And more money for everyone concern. That's the bottom line. Pacquiao is partially to blame for the lackluster performance.

Continue the myth of losing every 16th bout. Basta more "mani" to come his way.

Will pacyou do his usual quiapo thanksgiving mass and "victory" motorcade around Manila? Afterall, he did make a cool US$ 26 million...for himself.

he's like the muhammad ali of judge/analyst for boxing. he judged hundreds of title fights since the 60's.

Wala rin ibang masisisi dito kundi si Pacquiao. Nawala killer instinct. Coasting to what he thought as a win.

Or was he a willing accomplice to generate controversy to have another "meaningful" match that will generate more prize money.

    yup. agree.
di tulad noon na pag nasaktan na nya kalaban, hahabulin na nya ito at pauulanan na ng suntok hanggang sa bumagsak na.

eh ngayon parang wala na yung energy. kinakapos na. wala na yung follow through.

Netizens blame Pacquiao's faith in shocking loss

by Reynaldo Santos, Jr. Posted on 06/10/2012 1:53 PM | Updated 06/10/2012 4:38 PM

MANILA, Philippines - People in cyberspace reacted wildly when Manny Pacquiao lost his World Welterweight title in his much-awaited boxing match Sunday, June 10, against Timothy Bradley. Most of them instantly pointed to his new-found religion as a reason for losing his latest match.

The boxing champ Pacquiao, who was earlier associated with issues of womanizing and gambling, has embraced a bolder Christian faith and has begun preaching the Bible. He has even publicly quoted Biblical lines on several occasions, some of which sparked controversies.

He insists his faith has not affected his fighting skills. But after today's match, some seem to think otherwise.

Fans and critics of Manny Pacquiao immediately turned to social media to express their sentiments about his loss to Timothy Bradley.

Some put the blame on Pacquiao's "newfound faith".
