March 16th, 2007 05:13 PM #131) Suka - try our technique (recommended by our OB), take small meals pero mas frequent. If normal meal is 3x a day gawin nyang 5x a day yung total amount is spread out.
2) Working on unfit environment - pa-stopin mo na muna, who knows what bad effects that it could do to your baby. I'm sure mauunawaan yun ng parents niya. Minsan yung ganyang hazardous fumes/smoke can trigger weird things sa fetus at pedeng magproduce ng problems later on.

March 16th, 2007 05:32 PM #14Idagdag ko pala...if you can find this book "What to Expect When You're Expecting" by Eisenberg, Murkoff and Hathaway, it will help a lot, specially if this is your first baby. Kung magustuhan at makakatulong kay misis, meron din nitong "What to Expect the First Year" (same authors, para naman sa baby).

Are you in the medical field, because I am. So what you mean is hindi naapektuhan ang baby pag naabort sya. Hindi ko binase ang sagot ko sa specific situation ng wife ni n2knee, I am saying this in general, the whole idea na ang 1st trimester is the most critical part of pregnancy considering the effects is loss of life not just physical deformities.

May nagregalo sa amin 1 dollar lang daw nila nakuha: What to Expect When You're Expecting, What To Expect In the First Year, may kasunod pa yan What to Expect in the Toddler Years.
And I hope the petition comes in soon. Do you expect her to give birth in the US? Max 7 months pregnant ang regulation yata, but depending on the condition of the mother and child, puwedeng bawal ang air travel at any month.

OT na tayo pero just to indulge you.
i was just being more specific sa effect. pwede kasing pregnancy loss (abortion) or congenital malformation (meaning buhay pa din ang baby pero may mga problema). the thing with abortion immediate ang effect. alam mo kaagad na naapektuhan ang baby. but with congenital malformation, minsan hindi ganon ka-obvious ang effect. malalaman na lang ng parents kapag nanganak na ang mother. kumbaga, mas "silent" ang effect. the mother might think everything is a-ok sa pregnancy (kasi hindi naman nagka-abortion and wala siyang naramramdamang kakaiba) yun pala paglabas ng bata, may mga naging effect pala ang environment. magandang practice na magpa-congential anomaly scan ang mother sometime in the late 2nd or 3rd trimester.
and yes, i am a practicing physician. kung di mo mamasamain, pwede ko itanong anong specialty mo?Last edited by smooth; March 19th, 2007 at 06:19 PM.

Siguro naman kahit sino mag-rereact pag sinita di ba,you told me I'm wrong kasi kinorrect mo ang sinabi ko e. Tama ka, you should have said " to be more specific" e di dead ma lang ako, no reaction. I was a senior staff nurse for ten years sa Osp. ng Maynila Med. Center when I was there specializing in cardiac care, emergency and trauma, and renal (hemodialysis), and here in NZ I am a senior Nurse Case Manager and Team Care Coordinator in the Haemodialysis Unit in Auckland Hospital for 5 years now. Wala kasi sa medical field ang kausap ko kaya pinili ko lang ang explanasyon na madaling intindihin which is what we do during our health teachings in the hospital as well as in the community. Pero walang kaso, I rest my case and have a good day:peace:
