The last time I searched, average J B League pay is US150K per year. So that is big.

USD40,000 is roughly JPY4,000,000. That is big IMO in any Japanese industry. But of course these are pro athetes. They usually have hgher pay than most workers.

Yung 1-year contract doon para na ring 2-3 year max contract sa PBA.

Plus libre pa ata accommodations and some food allowance. Most likely may iba pang mga perks yan.

Ganda ng laro ng Toyama v San-En ngayon.

Too bad San-En lost by one point and at the free throw line at that.

Great game by both Thirdy and Dwight. The difference makers in their respective teams

^ napa-iyak pala si thirdy sa sama ng loob dahil sa mintis niya sa freethrow line. well, kelangan nila mag rack-up ng wins kung ayaw nila ma-relegate sa 2nd division. problema butas depensa nila parati.

in tasmania naman, kai sotto 's debut as a pro in the aussie league went well. he scored 7 points, 5 rebounds, an assist and a block to round out his very decent pro opener. ganda ng dakdak niya from the outside. he's deceptively quick if and when he wants to turn on those jets. and on defense, he can change the trajectory of shots w/o even touching the ball. may rep na shotblocker na agad.

thirdy fined and suspended by the league

B.League suspends Thirdy for two games, given Y=1K fine for damaging Toyama signboard

Very immature move of Thirdy. He is better than that.

I wonder if itong tsismis ni Kobe ay lalabas as mainstream press. Abangan .....

Ang standing ng team ni Kobe ay 2W-12L..
    Kapag nagbalasa, delikado.

Mukhang safe 'tong dalawa..

San-En also had a very bad record last year but they renewed the contract of Thirdy.

Bakit ba kasi super duper over hyped yan si Kai Sotto?

Pati dito huwag na paglatuin yan.

Rj abarrientos to supposedly leave south Korea for japan. The historic kbl Roy awardee and his former team, ulsan Hyundai , agreed amicably to part ways and end their 3 year agreement.

Kai Sotto will debut in this weekend's Japan B.League games ... that is if he will be fielded.

    Let's see how he does

not that i'm biased because i am, but i think the back injury he had since the preseason nba tournament was really bad. he just played through it w/ orlando in the chance of making the roster.

his wonky back was apparently bad enough to force him to skip the gilas fiba qualifiers and then to sit a big chunk of the ongoing bleague tournament.

it just goes to show that sometimes timing really plays a lot in life.

Kai Sotto's comeback game is not spectacular but not bad either, just slowly getting into the groove ... Kai Sotto wins first match with Yokohama B-Corsairs
