Heavy reliance on ABS means it gets floppy very quickly when you play around with it too much.
The best Zeta kit I think is the MG Zeta Plus A1 from "Gundam Sentinel." Ganda na rin ng kulay out of the box, and it's not as back-heavy as the Zeta Gundam models are because it's got big feet. (Gotta love that huge-*$$ beam smartgun.)
Anyway as promised, some photos of my collection. (Please excuse the straggler Huckebein Mk-II from "Super Robot Wars"...pero mukhang Gundam na rin siya.)
And here are a few of my 1/144s, some of which I've sold off already.

Too much ABS plastic.

Hindi naman; just try to stay away from kits sold in department stores and toy outlets. Most of the time, those are overpriced, and the association with kid's toys is giving them a bad rep. The best place to buy Gunpla (especially those from the UC era) are true hobby stores such as Special Toy Center in Cubao and Greenhills. Mas mura ang benta nila.
One frustration I have regarding Gunpla is, wala akong tiyagang maglagay ng abubot (panel lines, weathering, dioramas, kit bashing, and all the other stuff that a real modeler does). Hanggang snap assembly lang ako, at since wala akong X-acto knife at the time, nail cutter lang ang ginagamit ko pang-trim ng excess plastic. :hihihi:
:bwahaha:Last edited by Bogeyman; March 7th, 2008 at 12:10 PM.

Okey din sa GreatToys bumili ng Gunpla. They've got branches at Greenhills and Goldcrest.
I've successfully painted just one kit in my entire collection, and that was with Pylox spray lacquer.
Other than that, the farthest I've gone is to bond, fill and seal the parts with plastic cement. Then I buff the excess with varying grits of sandpaper to remove the "lumps" of melted plastic on the bonded areas. (A nail buffing block will do just fine too.)Last edited by Type 100; March 8th, 2008 at 12:08 AM.
