Save yourself some money and just buy a good "non-electric" face mask.

I Googled it and found nothing advantageous over a normal facemask.

How good a facemask is, is just a function of the filter used.

You can't make sweeping statements without qualifying it first.

In a nutshell, an electric face mask (weird name) provides positive pressure inside the mask to make breathing easier.

For most people, they'll do fine using conventional filter masks. But for some people who may have respiratory issues or have difficulty breathing, will benefit from electric face masks.

discomfort in breathing thru the traditional face mask, is the reason why i am interested in this so-called electric face mask.
if it works as advertised, i'm all for me.

i doubt if anyone will confess that they can breathe as easily thru the ordinary mask as without it.

Agree. Kanya-kanya tayo ng tolerance. And the actual filter mask being used is also a factor.

I see a market for these "assistive" filter masks for people who have a genuine need for them.... if not, those who can afford maintaining them.

Some of the EFMs that I saw puede i-DIY ang filter and you don't have to get the proprietary ones.

For example, you can use a 3M filter, cut it to shape and you have the replacement filter already.

The one-way valve lets you expel the air more easily (less resistance) and also so that you'll be breathing in less of your own breath. It doesn't help with inhaling (valve closed).

As a side note, this type shouldn't be used to mitigate Covid-19. The one-way valve isn't filtered so an infected person's breath would just vent out, unfiltered.

i only wish the volume of air pumped is larger. i also wish the battery lasts longer. it's used up after only 2-3 hours, kasi. after which, i connect it to the computer usb charger.

considering what items we can get from lazada/shopee at attractive prices, it seems to me this low-tech blower is hideously expensive.
    but i still want it.

    Interesting.

Which model do you have? The one where you wear the filter as a necklace or the one where you wear it as an armband?

    mine is the necklace model.
but it has a velcro adapter, such that it can be adapted to be strapped around the upper arm.
