Cholesterol and Cholesterol Lowering Drugs. Since 1998 Dr. Robin B. Navarro was telling his patient that "cholesterol is not the culprit of heart disease and stroke. It is the one that protect us from it. If you lower your cholesterol you might end up having heart disease, stroke, autoimmune disease and worst, cancer". Recently, new studies and researches kept coming regarding the benefits of Cholesterol and the consequences of lowering it.

to our friends/patients who are asking us regarding the recent recommendation of AHA (American Heart Association) regarding saturated fat e.g. Coconut Oil is Bad for your health, please read this commentary from Medscape. Numerous studies are being stated there, one of which is from Minnesota Coronary Experiment, which stated "in fact, researchers later discovered that the more the men were able to lower their cholesterol, the more likely they were to die from a heart attack."

Inabot na ko ng 17 hrs today. Last time I ate a snack was 10:30 pm last night and I am just about to take my first meal at 3:30 pm. I'm liking this not eating for X amount of hours hehehe

i'm no expert but wouldn't food deprivation make your body think there's food scarcity and it would slow down metabolism

so if your goal is to lose weight that's not gonna work

besides, by starving yourself you're probably not getting enough minerals your heart's electrical system needs (potassium, sodium, calcium, magnesium)

    that can't be good

I really don't know My primary reason is to change my lifestyle into something better, secondary would be weight loss. I've been watching youtube videos on fasting and they are saying the body needs only 2 square meals a day, even 1 pa nga e. Don't eat unless you are hungry

Yes, it will slowdown metabolism. Natural reaction ng katawan ng tao yan kapag nagugutom parati. Kaya hindi advisable na ginugutom yun sarili kapag nagpapapayat.

Caloric deficit at try to eat healthy. No exact formula but nearest on how to compute ilan calorie i-take for a day is multiply your weight (pounds) to 14/15/16. Kung ilan total, dun ka magbabase ng deficit kung nagpapayat o surplus kung nagpapataba ka naman.

Mr big, please correct me if im wrong, ito lang pagkakaintindi ko

fasting and food deprivation are two different things, you are just eating at a certain time to giving your time body burn all that stored energy from your last meal, then you feed at a certain window, media and commercialism has thoughy us to eat small meals throughtout the day....look at what society has become...lastly..you are not depriving yourself of calories, if your daily caloric allowance is 3000, you are still need to eat 3k calories pero in a shorter window..
