Cosplay...Got any ideas???

Problem:
My girlfriend has this costume play at their office on monday and the theme is "school dress"...so we want a japanese school girl uniform (you know, what sailormoon and kill bill's gogo wear)...where in manila can we find such a cute get up? TIA!!! maybe i'll post pics of my gf here wearing the costume as a sign of my gratitude!

well, there are a few costume rental shops out there.

hmmm, ewan ko lang if the shops selling rotc stuff do schoolgirl uniforms as well. or ung shops making marching band uniforms.

better yet, why not use her old high school uniform? there was a trend in the UK not so long ago where 20-30'ers wore "their" now skimpy school uniforms to pubs

hmmm. bili ka na lang sa mga department stores. pasuotin mo ng high school uniform complete with socks and boy's shoes.

Yes, sir kimpoy. It's short for "costume play", a major highlight of many anime and comic conventions here and abroad. This is basically a competition where fans dress up as anime characters/mecha, act out their favorite anime scenes onstage (complete with soundtrack and special effects) and are judged accordingly as to who has the best presentation.

IMHO, those loose thick socks would be the hardest to find.

Maybe you can substitute aerobic leg warmers for the socks instead.
