Nung 90s it peaked in popularity sa Manila. May coronado lanes pa ba? Classic yung kwento ng Mom ko when she and my Dad were newly married (early 70s) and they didn't have much appliances and furniture. My Dad got his billiard table from my grandparents home at yun ginawa nilang mesa [emoji23]

I don't think billiards will truly die, may mga bars kasi na panghatak pa din ang billiards table sa mga patrons nila. Pero from it's peak in the early 2000's laki na din talaga decline.

Pero hindi mawawala yan. Last Q1 nga nagtayo pa pinsan ko ng billiard center eh hehe.

May pera pa ba sa professional billiards nowadays? like kamusta pot money ngayon compared to 20 years ago nung kasagsagan ng kasikatan nila bata, django, alcano, nung nagpeak ang billiards. Sumabay ba sa angat ng inflation ang pot money and revenues or wala na talagang development sa sport? mga ibang sports like basketball at soccer grabe ang inaangat sa salaries ng mga players compared to 20 years ago.
