What we do po doc with our Pitcher Plants is to put "moist kusot" mixed with a little soil. Tapos po hindi po namin nilalagay sa direct sunlight, usually under trees or shaded areas. Kaya po pag diniligan sa umaga, the mixture of kusot and soil is still moist and cool for the plant.

Pag nagpaparami naman kami nitong plant na ito, we just separate the "saha" of the plant between 2-3 pieces and re-plant it sa natuyong coconut shell still with the husks.

Nyahahaha oo nga pala ano! I stand corrected! It does not repel but attract!! Funny thing is everytime i tilt the picher downward, ang dami talagang insekto sa loob na lunod sa liquid nung plant. Ang Galing! (heheheeh)

Basta naipon na tubig, delikado na magkaroon ng lamok. Pero ang "DENGUE mosquito," hindi sa stagnant water matatagpuan kung hindi sa CLEAN standing water.

Kaya, kahit malinis o maruming standing water, let's get rid of it quickly.

Galing naman . I've always wanted to grow plants but I think I have a black thumb Yung Eucalyptus ba plant na or seeds pa lang? Where did you buy it?

LR, do you have herbs ba? Is it really difficult to grow basil? I have oregano at home and I didn't know that it was an insect repellant pala. hehe.

I bought the Euca from a plant show! Usually every Sunday dito sa Lung Center near the Quezon City Circle, maraming nagtitinda nyan pati mga herbal plants. Minsan nga yung herbal plants asa 3 for 100 petot lang. Minsan naman asa 50 petot isa.

Marami akong alagang herbs sa province kase mas gusto nila ang climate doon pati ang type of soil. (hehehehe OT na ata ito)

mosquito repeller pala ang plant na to at medicinal pa? meron akong nakikitang ganito pero i would just take it for granted. but now, na alam ko na ano purpose nito, dapat alagaan na siya.
