Sinus Allergy? Anyone?

Sino may chronic sinus allergy dito?

I developed an allergy around 8 years ago when I was in my former office. When we were about to transfer to another building, old documents have to disposed. That was the start - and unfortunately the end is not near hehehe.

I lived in Japan for two years and survived with minimal allergy because wearing mask is very accepted there.
But here, even though I dont mind receiving weird looks, I cannot consistently wear mask. And living near a forested area, complicated the matter.

I regularly have nasal wash (using Flo-sinus) and take anti-histamine.

Any suggested remedy? Someone mentioned essential oils but the starter kit if very expensive (like US$300).

I have it too, runs in the family. I am allergic to grass pollen w/c is hard for me as my job requires me to be outdoors a lot. Studying in Japan for a few years was a respite for me as I never suffred. But the moment I stepped out of NAIA and it starts again. just take anti-histamines every now and then.

I won't survive without Nasonex (or Avamys), been using it everyday for more than 15 years.

Good thing it's covered by my office insurance, I get a new bottle every 3 weeks

Malaki bottle ng Avamys kaya ng 1 month, pero kapag Nasonex ako, halos maubos sya after 3 weeks...

Especially this month (Ghost Month) ang daming nag-susunog sa paligid...

May times na twice a day... (Kung wala pa din on the 2nd spray, Telfast tablet na).

Malaki bottle ng Avamys kaya ng 1 month, pero kapag Nasonex ako, halos maubos sya after 3 weeks...

Especially this month (Ghost Month) ang daming nag-susunog sa paligid...

Consider also molds, I can't smell them, but i can sense them, my eyes get really itchy, I spray lysol mold killer in our house regularly, big help for me.

Pati when I travel to new places, I take antihistamine as a preventive na, mahirap humarap sa tao with a runny nose, it also ruins your vacation, if not work.

Share ko lang, I noticed that there seems to be an allergen at the All Day and All Home Complex at Sta. Rosa. Everytime, I go there, I get all sneezy and itchy. Pinakamalala dun sa supermarket nila, I was red all over when I exited the mall.

Nagka ganyan din ako dati kaya nagpa checkup ako ENT...

Binigyan lang ako spray either Humer or Sterimar.

Pwede sya gamitin as maintenance every month or when it the itching attacks kasi panglinis lang naman daw ng nasal passage.

Ang natural remedy suggested nila is go to the beach kasi yung mga yun is bottled saline solution

My dad and I have been under this for years. Siya over 2 decades na, ako naman since grade school.

Malaki improvement tbh, nabawasan allergic reaction. Dati araw araw naka antihistamine yata ako, di pwede hindi masisipon, ngayon kapag sobrang dusty lang talaga at yung amoy. Sa akin pollen and cockroach mixture yata ang ini-inject every month.

I use Flo sinus once every 2 days. I'm allergic to all kinds of smoke. (Barbeques, cigarettes, vehicle exhaust, burning leaves.)

Ako dito lang sa amin nagkaka-allergy (Los Banos). Pag sa Metro Manila, nawawala. So my guess is I am not allergic to polluted air.

I have one in our bedroom. Pero pag labas ng bahay, wala nang magagawa ang air purifier.

My 10yr old sometimes is on Avamys. Nag Nasonex din siya. I once tried Avamys pero wala ako na-experience ng benefit.

Does your air purifier have an ionizer? That should get rid of the molds. Avamys doesn't work for me either.

Early mornings, meron ako slight allergy. But as the day progresses, nawawala ito. I would notice that after I have my morning coffee fix.

For several months now my allergies strike during weekends. Pag gising ko ng sabado nangangati na ilong ko tapos usually pag gabi lumalala leaking faucet na.

Apparently I may have leisure sickness. Pag bumababa stress kasabay din ang immune system.

Problem ko with Avamys is maikli yung spray nya...

Yung Nasonex mahaba kaya sapul yung loob ng nose mo.

Normally, mafeel mo yung difference on the 2nd or third day (for first time users).

Kung malala allergy mo (like me) unti unting babalik pang amoy mo kapag regular kang nag gagamot.
