Problem ko with Avamys is maikli yung spray nya...

Yung Nasonex mahaba kaya sapul yung loob ng nose mo.

Normally, mafeel mo yung difference on the 2nd or third day (for first time users).

Kung malala allergy mo (like me) unti unting babalik pang amoy mo kapag regular kang nag gagamot.

For several months now my allergies strike during weekends. Pag gising ko ng sabado nangangati na ilong ko tapos usually pag gabi lumalala leaking faucet na.

Apparently I may have leisure sickness. Pag bumababa stress kasabay din ang immune system.

    Upping this thread of mine.

    13 years of suffering.

Ang this quarantine, my sinus allergy coincided with my first ever and 2nd hypertension episode. Not saying it is the cause but I have a feeling it triggers it.

I use the treadmill and trainer bike regularly kaya hindi ako kulang sa exercise.

My 5yrd old also not has some allergy too - sounds like post nasal drip.

My doctor prescribed nasal rinse (flo sinus) and Mosaspsray (mometasone furuate)

Do you have carpeting? Molds? Mother-in-law has this same issue. They got her a heavy duty air purifier. She hasn't had any episodes.

    what are the triggers?

i had a classmate, decades ago.
lagi siyang naka-mask, even when it wasn't yet in vogue (like now).

present! also runs in the family.

notorious sakin yung hotel ballrooms or function rooms... basta carpeted yung floor. kaya dapat the night before and the day/s itself take na agad ng antihistamine.

also on dry/windy weather, from Nov to Feb. sa alikabok siguro... kaya i really like when it rains.

another things na nagti-trigger are old document files or stuffs stacked and untouched for a long time.

I can’t take pain relievers or any NSAIDs meds. before okay pa yung mefenamic pero later on may reaction na din. and now, even paracetamol may reaction na din. [emoji22]

then last month, i found out na meron na din akong allergic reactions on some anti-biotics. [emoji22][emoji22][emoji22]

as for me, sprays seems not that effective.

same here, allergic to pain relievers...

You can ask your doctor about Tramadol... It is not your usual medicine and you cannot ask other family members who do not have med allergies to use it.

Isn't tramadol a strong pain reliever?

Exactly what my doctor prescribed last month when I told her about the paracetamol. But haven’t tried it yet. Hope I won’t be needing it very soon.

Hmmm , my doctor said not that strong but high dosage causes hallucinations especially the injectables.

I have allergic rhinitis. It’s mostly related to dust or strong odors (perfume) or seasonal. I learned to live with it since having it at a young age.

In extreme cases, I would go see an allerologist to get prescription meds (mostly steroids) but most of the time I just dose up with Montelukast and Benadryl.

I have no issues with cold weather (even very cold freezing weather) but the allergy attacks usually happen when the season changes (cold to hot, hot to cold).

Sinus for many years was "cured" by just wearing pajamas to bed ...
