Normally I'd agree in 99% of cases kasi nagdedevelop yung mga MVP players when they get to be "the man" in their own team, pero nung umalis si Harden sa OKC parang ready na sya eh. But I think Westbrook's selfishness would've still killed it. Sobrang bilib ko kay Westbrook nung nag average sya ng triple double pero nung nakita ko na iniiwan ng teammates nya yung rebound para lang sa kanya ma credit nasira na sya sa kin.

Like all great players, it got to the point where he wanted to be the main guy. Sayang lang talaga ano. They could've been a dominant superteam before GSW. Ang nakakatawa, nasa luxury tax level na rin yata sila ngayon?

I think any player would choose to win a championship and form a dynasty instead of being just an mvp. Just ask chuck, drose, malone.

Yes. Mag luxury tax na sila pag nag resign si pg at dahil nag opt in si melo. It is like they wanted to erase their previous mistake.

Not when they are still young and at their prime. Individuals recognition is more important for these young bucks.

We will never know what goes on their heads. Klay meanwhile has expressed his desire to stay. So it might depend on their priorities.

Si DGreen mukhang after 2-3 years maghahanap na ng malaking contract. Tapos na rings galore niya by that time nga naman. hehe

If you are an all-start capable of leading a team like harden, eventually hihiwalay talaga yan. 2 superstars lang talaga max sa isang team imho kaya Russell and KD stayed together pa. Kung 3 sila ni Harden pwede gaya ng GSW mga 3-4 years sila habol championship pero after that hahabol na talaga sariling team yan if competitive ka talaga and you want to maximize your talent.

They could have won it together in those 3 to 4 years and okc might be what the dubs are today.

    Brain fart move lang talaga.

Not really. Westbrook and Harden needs to hold the ball a lot to produce what they are currently producing. With both on the team, only one of them will produce MVP numbers. Plus Westbrook, while his numbers are good, doesnt pass the eye test.

It looks like PG is not returning to OKC. Baka Lakers pa, with LABron.
I'm not a fan of Melo and we can't blame him for opting in to his final year with OKC. I think Melo is overrated.

So expect OKC to stay the same. All Westbrook.

Idol ko talaga si melo sa kakapalan ng mukha. 🤣

I think LBJ will stay with the Cavs.

Melo knows that this coming season is his last big paycheck. After that, i think he will go and ring chase. Poor okc, stars are always leaving.

How old is Melo again? 36 naba? Who was in his draft class?

LBJ, Wade, Bosh. The legendary '03 draft.

Welp, that's on the wrong side of 30 alright (at least for pro basketball). At least 33 or 34? Alam ko si DWade mga 36 na. If Melo is chasing rings, now would be the time to do it as he's already made his money and his skills haven't degraded to the point that he can be shut down by NBA teams' second stringers.

Melo would have been okay, offensively, in the man-to-man defense era. His game did not adjust when zone defense was allowed and more ball movement is required.

melo would be ringless on any era. his laziness and unwillingness to sacrifice will make sure of that.

Ako naman i believe during his heyday Melo is very close to LBJ offensively. Defense is where he is lacking but, I strongly believe that given a chance sana to be coached by a great coach he would been different. During the olympics kita mi naman pakinabang nila sa kanya. His outside shot eps 3 points and ability to drive was second to none.
