sure it's the best move he'd done but not popular in the eyes of the management.
we never know what would had happen if derozan was put back in the middle of their fight back. or, maybe it was already been long decided by his boss that casey's tenure is only dependent to a raptors ECF slot!

But I wouldn't bench my best player kahit na off night niya. He can do other things to help the team inside the court.

And his game will come eventually during the game. Tapos he's a forever threath kahit na off night basta nasa loob siya ng court. Pwedeng decoy lang kung alat talaga shooting.

Derozen carried the raptors on his should the whole year at least give him that and don't bench him during playoff if siya dahilan ng pagkatalo so be it at least give him a chance na bawiin yun pangit na Game niya during the game.

Yup. Alot of articles out there from "sources" saying different things like Masai got upset after losing Game 1 when they could've had it, then not responding in Game 2. Also the coaching staff did not hold Demar accountable and let him do whatever he wanted; and that Casey asked for an extension (after getting swept!) with a year left on his contract (for job security) which led Masai to fire him.

In fairness to the organization, they gave Casey every chance. Remember he was not Masai's coach. He inherited Casey from the previous GM, Bryan Colangelo. He could've fired him when they got swept by the Wizards a few years ago but still gave him a chance and extended him.

So whatever reason it was, I'm happy with the firing. I'm sure he'll be coaching another team soon. I hope the Raps improve the roster this offseason ala Boston and not tanking like the Sixers.

I agree. Afterall it's not how you begin the game, it's how you end it that matters.

Benching your best player and not helping him, coaching him to get out of the funk is not a good sign as well. It was like he was making a scapegoat out of DeMar.

Yun ata ang problema. Other than scoring, wala ng ma-contribute si derozan. So kung alat sa scoring, liability pa siya sa ibang aspects.

Nagising ako ng 4am so I checked on the scores. Buti tambak na ang Cavs so tulog uli.

Again with the Cavs, it will all boil down to the supporting cast. James will find a way to produce pero kung hindi mag-click ang supporting cast, this could be long series just like against the Pacers.

The Celtics ang missing their best players BUT their coach is very good. The remaining players, while not superstars, are very good team players. Kumbaga from player 1 to 8 (or 9) sa rotation, hindi masyado bumababa ang quality ng player.

Pwedeng decoy talaga eh and keeps Cavs defense on their toes. Pwede ba nila hinde bantayan yan kahit na off night eh anytime during the game Pwedeng gumana,

Nakakagulat naman ang laro ng cavs kanina, parang nag aantay sila na hahayaan lang sila ng celtics tumira...napaka complacent nila, walang sense of urgency.

Hats off to celtics, they showed no fear and played team defense and offense.

Sa postgame, halos lahat ng analyst except paul pierce, sinasabi na off night lang si bron and the cavs and what happened in game 1 wont happen again in the succeeding games. In short, favorite pa din ang Cavs and understandably so as they have the best player in the world and a decent supporting cast.

Derozan cant play decoy. Why? He needs a lot of dribble to score and I dont think he is a good passer.

Be as it may. He will always be a scoring threat against the opposing team as long as he's inside the court and not sitting on the bench.

Sa barangay election ang usap-usapan nba. Nagkakantiyawan na.

Last saturday pati mga bagger sa supermarket usapan nba din.

Labasan ng kwarta ito sino makakakuha tv coverage pag tapos contrata.

    - - - - - -

This celtics eh intelligent team. They attack mismatches.

Ano nangyari sa supporting cast ni kingkong. After the all star break hype na hype na improved daw. rodney hood, george hill, nance jr at jordan clarkson (itong filam eh nagpapapresyo pakipot pa para sumali sa bolahan na gilas.) Mas may "pangalan" mga yan compared to other teams supporting cast.

They're still currently playing in the conference finals diba? It's just the first game, eager beaver.

Didn't people also wrote them off? Lahat pinag-uusapan "we the north" tapos biglang sweep sila.

    So relax ka lang.

yung pagduda sa cavs sa "we the barney" eh because sa nangyari doon sa first round sa playoffs. Sabi magki-click daw once magplayoffs pero si kingkong pa lang nagclick. Not the supporting cast.

Until right now nagiging blueprint pa din pacers series. Yan sinsabi mga nba analyst pero they are disrespecting the celtics kasi hanggang game 6 lang daw

And conference finals na ito. There should be continuity ng fluidity sa offensa.

Nobody can dare write LeBron off....the House Money Cs know that. Cavs lost game1 & are still faves to take the series. I'm just enjoying watching how a system can fare against stars.

Win or lose, celts had a successful season. Irving must be happy and nervous at the same time because his backup is playing well.

Kyrie is secure there. He bought into Brad's system & it's his team now.
