Wolves can make the play-offs, LAC alanganin imho.

If hayward stays, which he might do, ok din Jazz. Ok na yang si PG13 sa OKC. Sana Iggy makuha ng SAS at maresign si Pau, Dedmon at Simmons.

    I agree!

I am one of -- well, I don't know -- the few who hopes the Lakers stick with organic rebuild and do away with signing star free agents who will just eat up the minutes of that "standout talent" and of that "new face of the Los Angeles Lakers" (Brandon Ingram and Lonzo Ball, respectively, according to Magic Johnson).

On the other hand, if Paul George will sign up for the Lakers' off-guard position, that's hooray for me!

If the Lakers, particularly Ingram and Ball, do considerably good in the upcoming season...
    1. I'd rather that the Lakers sign just one max player (Paul George -- if he's really hell-bent on signing with the Lakers); and
    2. They should save the rest of their cap space future flexibility.

I keep wondering who they will accept in return for those 2 superstars. Trend seems to be proven veterans for talented rookies with potentially high ceilings.

It's good that they got rid of Mozgov, but moving the remaining top salaries of Deng, Brewer and Black for good value is going to be a challenge.

Most likely Ingram, Randle and Clarkson will be the only ones OKC will want for their own superstars.

This just in: Tarik Black Waived by Los Angeles Lakers, Will Enter Free Agency | Bleacher Report

I agree Deng's contract is still a concern, let alone his role on the court. On the other hand, he's a good locker room guy according to what I've read.

I don't want the Lakers to go back to this kind of cap life again: Golden State now has $13M in guaranteed contracts...

I just wish Ingram becomes a star, Ball becomes a steady Robin, and then they get a star FA next off-season to complement those 2 players. Besides, they've got a nice supporting cast in Clarkson, Randle, Nance, and Zubac. Their draftees also seem promising...

    This is just me...

Re: GSW salary: wow. Still, much better value than the the Cavs' $129M I think. Lakers are nowhere near that hehe. But with enough success it seems a bloated payroll is an eventuality.

Lakers' future looks really bright. Reminds me of where GSW was a few years ago.

Always good to see another Laker fan. 🖒

I have to respond to this first: Yay! Me too! Win or lose

But I'll have to admit I was a Kobe fan before I became a Lakers fan (giggle)...

Yup! And with the Black opt out, I believe they now have around 18M in cap space. Yipee! I'd rather they save that, though...

In this generation of super teams, this sounds just so right...

Yes, yes, yes! I just hope the new front office has learned the lesson from the sins of the past: how to maintain financial flexibility in the face of competing for titles
