The "newcomer" point guard who i'm intrigued the most is the comebacking 6'11 ben simmons of the 76ers. Can you imagine an uno who's that tall? Even magic johnson didn't have this kid's kind of physical tools. Now, if only he can stay healthy...

Yeah. Teams will just send their best on ball defender to hound ball and then he will be a non factor with his unreliable shot.

Watching ben simmons highlight from last years summer league and im impressed. Not that quick but he can get away with that. I can see a young penny hardaway with his all around skill set and vision.

Sixers' medical staff might be the most stressed in the league.

    -----------
It looks like that the celts were right in trading down. Tatum was making grown men shots. If their current core doesn't perform well, they still have the future in them.

Ben Simmons was training with the King yesterday. side by side he looks as healthy as Lebron, a good thing for Philly

I would share the same sentiment as Darius Soriano's: I Don’t Care if it’s Only Summer League, Lonzo Ball is Special | Forum Blue And Gold

But still not a fan of LaVar's mouth

I hope Lonzo can still perform even with excellent on ball defenders on him. The rumors of him faking a groin injury to avoid playing against De'Aaron Fox don't bode well for the Lakers.

Lakers kk kuzma has the mamba mentality. 👏

his pump fakes and 3s are very good.

I think he ranked 27th in the draft coz of his wingspan.

Ball did well in the summer league after a horrible start.
    Some observations on Ball.
**While he racked up his assist numbers to double digits, I noticed quite a few came from lob passes. The ones he made were accurate (of course) but I wonder if that will work against real NBA players. First he has to get the defensive rebound which I am not he can on a regular basis against NBA PF and centers.
**He has a very basic drive and kick out style of play making which I believe can be read easily by NBA defenders.
**Perimeter shooting is very suspect. If he doesnt improve on his shooting, his passing will be easy to defend.
    **Below average defender.

I think he'll be an average NBA player.

Dennis smith jr outmatched lonzo from their last meeting. So yes,he is somewhat an average defender given that he has the length and tools. He also looks unathletic and slow for his size. (Similar to kyle anderson)

Once he faces the likes of westbrook, cp3, lillard, wall, curry and the rest of the elite pg's magkaka alaman na kung kaya nya makipag sabayan.

At least he is the summer league mvp so that's a good start.

He is actually quite thin but tall. With the recent success of the small-ball system, it is necessary for Ball to improve his shooting percentage.

The pre-season game should give us a better look on him.

After the Cavs lost the NBA finals, Kyrie (Cavs trade me) and Lebron (talking to Lakers) are looking at other teams.

    Thanks GSW

Hey, everyone! It has been a while.

About Lonzo: For now I'll stop getting hyped up or getting critical of his game. Just for now basta, he has the tools; but those are going to be tested in around 3 months.

About the NBA now: it's pretty quiet now... nakakainip

Kyrie must have seen the writing on the wall.

Obvious na nagtitipid si Dan gilbert kase sinesante nya si david griffin.
Lebron will be gone and kyrie dont want to stick during the post lebron era.

NYK is a blackhole so i dont know why he wants to go their.
Twolves and spurs dont have the asset to entice the cavs.
Heat is a good option though.

He wants to be "the man" in his next team. Even willing to forego getting his supermax contract due 2019 to do it. I don't get that since GSW's winning formula has proven team ball > iso/2 man/superhero ball.

So if he isn't doing it for the money, and not doing it to win championships, what is he doing? Does he think he can go the Jordan/Kobe superhero route in today's NBA?

If he wants to escape Lebron's shadow, he just has to wait til 2018 anyway. He'll be the last man standing in a team that will have him as the focal point.

Maybe you're right. Now that he has a championship Gilbert may be winding down the payroll dramatically and Kyrie doesn't see the Cavs staying competitive in the future. The lack of post season moves seems to indicate that direction.

It still is about$20M a year for him.

    Maybe he wants a Harden-deal.

    But where?

I think Kyrie only reacted to Lebron's talk with the Lakers. The teams he listed that he wanted to join are all top10 compared to a lebron-less cavs.
