Golden State traded guard Jamal Crawford to Atlanta for guards Acie Law and Speedy Claxton.
New York traded guard Quentin Richardson and cash to Memphis for center Darko Milicic.
Minnesota traded guards Randy Foye and Mike Miller to Washington for the 2009 No. 5 draft pick, forwards Etan Thomas, Darius Songaila, Oleksiy Pecherov.

Yeah. I think they had a good deal here, unlike the trick they did when they acquire Iverson for Billups. Iverson is not a natural point guard. He splitted the minutes in the number 2 position with Rip. But the idea of having Iverson coming from the bench was not accepted by the latter.
Villanueva is a PF which the Pistons lacks, while Gordon suits best as a reliever for the aging Hamilton.

The Gordon-Villanueva trade by Detroit makes Sheed expendable. Rip should still be serviceable as a starting SG.
