Sir Zeagle, i installed the new filter cause i thought the dirty one i replaced caused the aircon to emit this foul odor when i turn off the compressor and only the blower is on. however, although it is now colder and stronger, the odor is still there, though, slight, when only the blower is on. what seems to be the problem here? the evaporator is dirty already? or is this just normal with all the xtys? i need your inputs guys. sometimes kasi, when it is very cold, i switch off the compressor while a leave the blower on, but the aircon emits air with a smell...

I think nasa drain hose ang problem, nag accumulate ng water kaya meron odor.

Tama si Isuzoom, you apparently have water pocket inside your cooling unit. Overnight the water becomes stale. In the morning yung unang buga maasim and as you use your aircon nawawala. So the cycle continues. However kung talagang palaging mabaho, baka may baby rat inside. Hehe. Kung gusto mo talaga mawala, palinis mo lang yung evaporator. Mura lang cguro yun kasi walang parts papalitan.
