ngayon lang ulit ako nakabisista dito
patopig: the exp, vm and the upp should last you a really long time. the vm offers a long working time even if you're going to use a machine. less is more
btw, the upp is a pita to remove sa applicator.. kahit anong hugas ayaw matanggal!!

ILD: sorry for the late reply.. phone's busted. hehe you can always reach me though at teamrage

milky: Thanks :D. Send me an SMS if you have new stocks. BTW, what can you recommend on a silver car? Dalasan mo post mo dito, daming mga detailers dito hehehe

Just went to Megamall this afernoon, I looked for some washmitts but Concord doesn't have any in stock, they only have the puny white wash mitts and the washmitt / net hybrid supposedly to remove bugs and tars. Went to ACE any bought a sachet of 3M IHG, Armol All and a bottle of EO WAUD. Also saw some 3M Finish Restorer but didn't buy any (looked like old stock), its priced at around 350++.

Was able to apply VM and UPP on my car yesterday afternoon.

I started with washing the car with JOY to try removing the week old SCLW. I would avoid doing that again. After the wash, daming stains and spots sa paint and windows. WAAAAAAH. beading on the paint was little to scarce though. I used 1 bottle of joy.

I clayed (again) and used DACP on my hood, roof and trunk lid. (Dami kasi swirls). I then applied VM like a polish and worked it in the paint using LC White pad and my trusty kp600. Resulted in a wet look a step better than IHG. Since vm was kinda watery, I was not sure how much to use. I used up 1/3 of the 4oz bottle to finish the car.

I then applied UPP by hand. It was really great! Sneaky/Milky repackaged the sealant in a spray bottle and what I did was I sprayed the applicator till it was covered, and I would spray each panel a few times and spread it using the damp (with UPP) applicator. I was able to finish applying the UPP after around 7-10 minutes (by hand)!

I left it for around and hour and when I buffed off the sealant, it was sooooo easy. It was as if the residue disappears into thin air with one light wipe. Galing. I was finished removing the residue in 7-10 minutes too. I wish all waxes were this easy to use. I used up 1 oz of the 4oz bottle!

The look is similar to my mom's phase 3. Warm and glowy but not too shiny. What was extraordinary was the slickness of the paint. Wow! Parang silk! Ehehehe.

Was not able to take pictures since I finished around 8 in the evening. Will try to take pictures later. Iniwan ko pa sya ngayon sa parking na walang cover. I may put in a second layer of UPP in a few days. Galing.

Another thing I liked about VM and UPP is that they do not stain trim. I'm pretty careless about trim thats why I love these two!

Milky: Sabihen mo kung may UPP na uli! I love UPP!

eto process ko mga pare, copied from the other thread. thanks for the comments!!

    exterior:
    1. wash, strip existing wax with Dawn dishwashing liquid and dry with synthetic chamois/cali water blade
    2. wash wheels with DP gel wheel cleaner
    3. clay with Mother's claybar (yellow) and quick detailing spray. buff with MF towel
    4. apply 3M Imperial Hand Glaze. buff with MF towel (did this on the black car but not the white one)
    5. apply Klasse All-in-One. buff with MF towel
    6. apply Klasse High-gloss Sealant Glaze. buff with MF towel
    7. let car sit overnight
    8. apply 2nd coat of Klasse HG Sealant Glaze. buff with MF towel
    9. finish off with P21S carnauba wax. buff with MF towel

    interior
    1. wipe everything down with clean damp terry cloth
    2. quick vacuum of carpets (i need new floormats...hmmmf)
    3. scrub lightly with Lexol Leather Cleaner and 'rinse' with clean wet cloth
    4. treat with Lexol Leather Conditioner and let sit overnight

    lessons learned:
    1. should leave myself more time for the sealant to cure (before waxing with P21S)
    2. must buy some Wheel Wax. that embedded brake dust is murder.
    3. ubos na hand glaze ko. i am planning to replace with a good polish, any suggestions?
    4. if i'm really serious about this stuff it might be time to invest in that Porter Cable i've been eyeing for some time now

i did the interior and exterior steps 1-6 for both cars in 6 hours on saturday, left the surfaces to cure overnight, and finished steps 7-9 in 3+ hours on sunday.

    any comments welcome
