BTW I was thinking, since BB has no WAUD in stock, I was thinking of spraying QD as I dry the car, what do you think? By doing this am killing two birds with one stone, instead of drying first then QD session.

i actually do that too from time to time.. yung medyo dry na car after final rinse. I make a first pass with MF.

Then I hit it with QD / MF during the final drying stages.. great results too.

sa sobrang pagod ko nung linggo sa kaunaunahang detail ko sa aking tsikot, ngayon lang ako nakapag post ulit. one thing i learned about auto detailing is that you have to love your car too much to persevere through a 3 step detailing. all i did by hand!

began at 1030 am. washed the car with shampoo-water mixture.

re claying, unang bukas ko nung moms clay bar, takot na takot ako baka malaglag! cut the bar in two and started gliding on my just rinsed car. the clay bar is a piece of ingenuity! it picked up any stain especially the tar in seconds! incurred some bar stains at first but got the hang of it later on. kept on kneading it as you gurus mentioned, then it thought i should have divided the bar in three kasi i think a third is big enough. well, reusable naman kaya ok lang.

laid down the moms cleaner wax with a microtex suede. dito ko na naramdaman yung pagod. had to work on the paint to get that inherent luster out. i think the claying wasnt enough coz after i applied cleaner wax, thats when the paint became smoooooooth. napangiti tuloy ako. hehe

finally, applied the synwax. the megs applicator was a breeze to use. laid the wax as thin as possible...yung bang akala mo walang nakalagay. by 5 pm, natapos ako sa pag-apply ng wax. nagsimba muna and allowed the wax to haze. after mass, cleaned the engine pero di ko na dinetail kasi malinis pa, naspu-naspu lang. ginawa ko yung suggestion ni patopig in cleaning the glass, kaso medyo mali mixture ko pala. i did 7 parts water, 2 parts apc, 1 part vineger. kaya siguro di natanggal lahat ng water spots sa windshield, pero nalinis naman ng mabuti. by around 8 pm, buffed na.

remarks: honestly, parang pareho lang yata itsura ng kotse ko before and after. hahaha! pero one thing for sure is that ang smoooooooooth na nung paint! solve naman ako pero honestly (again), i was expecting more shine sana (kasi mahal nung wax ko eh...hehe). pero in general, satisfied naman ako sa ginawa ko.

took the car to work the morning after. the pics above were taken that gloomy monday morning before i left. 15 minutes into my drive.....umulan na. kakalungkot mga pre! oh well, atleast na-observe ko yung beading sa hood.....very tiny beads lang siya, ganda tingnan na rin. pag park at paglabas ko ng kotse, putik sa lower half ng doors ang bumati sa akin. nalungkot nanaman.....eto ang buhay detailing...hahaha

Nice Work Stubby, now you can use that as your sig. Parehas tayo, kakadetail lang ng kotse nung sunday, now its filthy again ehehe. At least you have a pic of your ride while its still clean and shiny
